Worse moving experience in my LIFE! Given one estimate, and once your furniture is loaded; then they change prices. They tell you everthing's included and they hold your valuables hostage! Movers rude and no professionalism from (LISA) the boss! They have a sweet sounding person on the initial call, then the nightmare begins. Please folks, do your research.

Let me start off by saying that the movers themselves did a great job. A wonderful crew that were polite, efficient and did a bang up job. I give the moving crew themselves at least 4.5 stars. If you have ANYTHING loose, pack it up, they will grossly overcharge you for extra boxes. If you have glass table tops, mattresses or TVs, pack them up yourself because again, they will grossly overcharge you for boxes and plastic covers. Make sure you read that insurance fine print, we had to pay extra for it, but we got the actual insurance instead of the 250 dollars for everything or 2500 dollars if god himself comes down and kicks the truck "insurance." Again, don't get me wrong, they were still relatively cheap and I can't stress enough how great the actual movers were. Just look out for the foreman and get everything in writing, don't let them authorize anything on your behalf and don't let them bully you into paying more than you need to. We ended up paying 360 more dollars almost doubling the original 400 dollar quote based on extra items and real insurance.

If there was one word to describe my experience with US 1 it would be Horrific!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. When they pick up your furniture they are extremely professional but for delivery it's a whole other story. I was told it would take a week to get my items when it took 16 days instead. Instead of calling me and telling me they were running behind schedule I had to track down the driver myself. He told me he would call me the day before delivery instead called me at 6:30pm the day of saying he would be at my home at 8:30pm. I am a single female and told him I thought it was unsafe and unprofessional to which he yelled and hung up on me. When I called back he said that I needed to take my furniture then or have to pay the storage and redelivery fees. When he delivered my furniture at 9pm he refused to reassemble anything, threw my opened, busted and smashed boxes around, broke my dining room chair and left everything in the living room...bedroom set included. I had to call the police to make him finish taking my things off the truck after I complained. I had to file a police report because I felt threatened since this mover was screaming and spitting in my face. He refused to give me a manager name and number. And guess what? When I called to complain the following day they said that he was a good employee that had worked with the company for years! I paid this company over $1600 for an Interstate move for this treatment.
