I have been to lot of Indian Vegetarian restaurants and still Udipi is the best in terms of quality and service. I feel the weekend prices should come down a little bit particularly for afternoon lunch.

We ordered Bhel Puri for appetizers which came out stale. Before we were able to return it our main dishes came out and we began eating. When we told the manager that the Bhel Puri was stale, he immediately started arguing that we should have told him earlier. He wouldn't take it off the bill. I couldn't believe how he was treating his customers. Hopeless service!

This place a good vegitarian south Indian resturent. I am pleased with their service and neatness of this place. The food is better thatn average. You cannot get any non-veg food here. Price is liitle bit expensive. If you have a small party in this pklace with 4 or 5 people, expect to pay about $100.

the best samosa's in town!!!! everything else is always great, the service is pretty good, and probably the best in an indian restaurant, and I've been to several.

The food is OK. It is good if you cant handle a lot of spices. It is kind of bland if you are used to or looking for authentic south Indian food. Definitely recommended for non-indians who cant handle spicy food. The waiters are not all that great, they dont smile or anything and look like they dont really care. Other than that its decent.

If you are looking for a good Indian vegetarian place on the east side of Atlanta, look no further. South indian thali comes with wonderful treats and is a must try. If you want to try a little bit of every thing, their lunch buffet is a good choice.

Such a wonderful menu. Idlis are always superb. Sambar is consistently good. Dosas are excellent. They do a lunch buffet that is spectacular. The Bhel Puri is fabulous if fresh (not on the buffet). The Bisi Bela Bhat is wonderful. And the Chana Batura is a must try. Too many wonderful dishes to mention. Others have come and gone but this place is always top notch. Been eating here since late 90's. Never had a bad experience.

Travelled all over the world, and have yet to find a more consistent and delicious vegetarian Indian food place. Try the SOuth Indian Thali, which gives you a sampling of everything. Dosas are top notch here too.
