I have no insurance and after getting up the nerve to go in for a check up, it was explained to me that I needed 2 crowns in order to save my teeth. The girls up front helped me work out a plan with a company called care credit. Really not looking forward to it, but I'm really happy I'm getting it done.

After seeing the same dentist for 20 years, I cautiously switched. After meeting the staff and Doctors at UHFD I finally found what I had been missing! They are friendly and knowledgable. They answer all my questions and fully inform me of any treatment or billing issues. They are all cute, fun and informative! Love UHFD!

The entire staff has always been very accommodating, especially in an emergency with a broken tooth. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. Dr. Mower rocks :) "hubcap lady"

I am very picky when it comes to my family and our dental care. Ten years ago my dentist retired so we were forced to find a new dentist . I bounced around from about 3 offices until by luck I was referred to Union Hills Family Dental Care. They are totally about customer service and I consider them part of my family. They cater to your specific needs and understand dental phobics (my husband and son). I have crazy scheduling issues that Kris the office manager has always helped me with! A+ and Dr. Ellis is both professional and friendly!!

I moved to AZ 4 years ago and had to find a new dentist. After my inital visit I knew I had found the place. Dr. Rubio-Ellis makes you feel right at home. The office manager is very efficient and has helped me sort out my insurance issues more than once. Also I have had a crown and 1 root canal at this office-both virtually pain free!! I look forward to seeing them every six months. I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Union Hills Dentist has lost not only me as a customer but my son as well. I first started going to this dentist 12 years ago. I have spent thousands of dollars with this office. You can imagine I am not thrilled about having to find a new dentist, however , Customer Service to me is important. I have an expectation to being spoken to in a courteous manor. The Customer Service is very, very bad. The office mangager is rude and unapproachable when discussing unknown charges that they are billing for. If customer service is a quality that you need in a dentist I suggest that choose a different dentist office.

I apologize for your recent poor experience at our office. Quality customer service is important to me as well and the issue has been addressed with the front office staff. I have also reimplemented anonymous customer surveys and reviews so not just the computer savvy have an outlet for venting or compliments. If I can further be of assistance in this matter, please call or email me directly--I understand if you must find another dentist, but would rather not lose you and your family. Marissa Rubio-Ellis, D.D.S.
I have been a client for 11 years. I changed during this time and came back because they are friendly and work with you. I have never had a problem making an appointment or changing one. With other dentists I had to schedule 6 months in advance and if I cancelled an appointment, I would have to wait 4 months to get in for a cleaning!!! The office staff is very friendly. They are very prompt, you always get in on time. They remember who you are, you are not just a number. Pleasant office with beautiful pictures of Dr. Ellis' recent scuba dives. Overall, I have never been happier with a dentist.

I had some very bad dental work done when I was a child. I had 5 teeth that broke when the filling came out and was just too terrified to go. My husband made our appointments and I reluctantly went. To my amazement I was so impressed. I had to get 5 teeth extracted and believe it or not I will go back. Two days after the extractions I was in a lot of pain and called the office. They went above and beyond to help me get comfortable again. The receptionist went so far as to call Dr. Mower and see what could be done. I also had my 5 year old go for his first time visit ever to a dentist and they were so good with him that he is excited to go back and go AAAHHHHH for all his new friends. Thank all of you for taking away my fear of dentists and helping me be healthy again!!

The poeple in this office do not care about the well being of poeple, just the bottom line! If they actually cared they would take the extra time to really help, insted they just say I can't !!!! just wrong to do when someone is on a fixed budget.

We go above and beyond to offer patients extended payment plans and provide additional resources like Care Credit and Capital One financing. We will gladly work with you and your needs, however we do need to make sure the financial arrangements are adequate enough to cover our lab and supply bills. We too are on a budget. We also are able to suggest ways to break up your treatment needs and proceed one step at a time instead of everything at once. We would rather help you get started than have you be in any discomfort.
I have been a patient of Dr. Ellis for 9 years. She makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. She is the only reason my jusband has gone to the dentist and had all his necessary work completed. Everyone there is so nice and pleasant. I would not go anywhere else.

My husband, two children and I love Dr. Ellis. We have recently moved out of state and have considered flying back just for dental appointments. My youngest has yet to cooperate with her new dentist and often tells me to take her back to "Shari", the hygentist at Dr. Ellis' office. They are the most patient team we have ever dealt with. My husband is terrified of the dentist and has a lot of pain associated with his visits. Shari and Dr. Ellis were very gentle and made him feel relaxed. While with their practice he never had a problem with keeping his appointments. Thank you to Dr. Ellis, Shari and the whole Union Hills Dental team! We miss you!

I look forward to going to my dental office twice a year. I have been a patient of this dental office for 5 years now and love the doctors and staff. They treat me like family:) They have convient hours and are open 6 days a week!!! They work with me in a timely manner and I never have to wait in the lobby. These staff members are very efficient and very gentle and I highly recommend going to this office!!!
