we have left our dog there 4 times. the past 2 times she has ended up with a horrible kennel cough - and one time a massive sinus infection. there are too many dogs there ... and even though you have to be vaccinated before you board your dog -- too many dogs means too much risk. we will never endanger our dog there again.

I was not a fan of doggy day care/boarding facilities. I have forgone vacations because I couldn't find a friend to care for my dog. What changed my mind? A two day event and a need to board our dog. I did homework about local facilities, even did drive-bys. What attracted me to Unleashed Doggy Day Care was: friendly employees who understood my fears about leaving my dog for the first time; dogs are not crated all day; the free three hour "test run" where technicians ensure my dog was comfortable with the facility, and that the "new dog" would not be a disruption for the rest of the community; the report card received after her test run; the cleanliness of the facility; the owner at the front desk asking for my input while respectfully treating me as a dog owner rather than a paying customer; the wonderful staff who greet returning dogs by name (impressive). Picking up my dog was interesting; she did not want to leave! Safe, relaxed and a little exhausted because of the exercise she received - I was very pleased with Unleashed. We also had our dog groomed - amazing job at a reasonable cost. We love the facility, the people/owner, but mostly the attention my dog received - and the very reasonable price which includes doggy day care! So pleased, we are leaving our dog for an extended vacation. Finding the right boarding/day care facility is a very "freeing" experience. Unleashed is where it's at.

I moved to Johns Creek a year ago, and found Unleashed for my Siberian Husky, Apache. He was only 8 months old at the time, and I needed a place to take him during the day where he could get exercise and be socialized. What a difference this place has made in my dog's life! The staff here is great, and my dog is very well behaved. Terri is fantastic. On our first visit, Apache did not pass the temperament test. She recognized that he was nervous and we were both in a new living situation, so she wanted him to come back and try again. He passed the second time. And it's been great every since. I've never had a problem and Apache LOVES to go there. We visit about 3 times a week. He BEGS me to take him. I'm recently moving again within the area, and chose my new home based on being close by to Unleashed so Apache can still have his routine (which only makes my life easier). The value for what you get is great, and day care is included in the boarding. I love that. Not only are the dogs not crated all day and night, I don't feel I'm being nickled and dimed to death like other places. They recently expanded the facility, and the new area for large dogs is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

Our dog had many health issues and we were having trouble finding a good caring groomer for her special needs. Our dog knew the difference between looking good and a bad hair cut. She loved the staff, enjoyed going (which was a surprise) and her cut was perfect everytime. We explained what we wanted, the blade #, and always picked up an excited, happy, beautiful dog. After searching for years we finally found a home for our poodle, a place our dog felt safe and comfortable. Our first time was a shocker...because the price was so reasonable, not like some of the other places where she got bad cuts. A huge saving, sweet caring staff...what else but the best for our special family member.

This is a wonderful facility where the dogs can socialize with each other under supervision. Much better alternative than boarding them where they stay in a cage. Friendly and caring staff. Glad to hear they are expanding.

Our two-year-old shih poo had never been boarded before, but we had too many events coming up so we went around our new neighborhood meeting with doggy hotels. At Unleashed, our first stop, we were immediately impressed with the facility, the frontdesk staff and how CLEAN AND CUTE everything was. We spoke with them, had his records sent over and he spent 2 hours there without us... he did great! He was happy and I just knew he got lots of attention. They're now our go-to place for overnight stays and grooming - they even did a great job administering his ear medication (after their groomer saw it was infected!) We trust them and will never go anywhere else and feel so lucky to have found them.

We take great pride in providing loving care for our clients (your pets) and their owners. We are also very proud of the great reviews we recieve on this and other sites. The problem with this type of forum is that anyone can post anything about a business, truthful or not, and hide behind a screen name so the validity of the review can not be challenged. To actually acuse us of sedating a pet in order to groom it is not just hurtful and false, but downright malicious. To state we are under some sort of investigation for doing something as unethical and ILLEGAL as this is not just a lie, but shows someone has a personal axe to grind with our groomer. We opened this business because of our love for animals, and we saw the need for a facility such as ours. We treat each client like they were our own pet, and would never put any of them in harms way. What disturbs us so much about this review is there is not one shread of validity in it. It was posted with malice, with the sole purpose of hurting the business we have poured our heart and soul into. We wish whomever posted this would contact us directly if they had such a negative experience with us. We have only groomed a handful of cats since opening, and non to our knowledge were displeased. The purpose of sites such as Kudzu is to enable people to share their actual experiences with others to help them in their purchasing decisions. It's unfortunate that some will use this type forum to intentionately cause harm.

I don't blame you for trying to defend your business. Let me just say that my cat due to the drugs given to her at your business has never fully recovered. I don't know the groomer. Didn't even meet her that day. Yes, an animal abuse report with the Dept. of AG. was filed against your business, that is true. The damage to my animal is done. All I can do is bring the awareness of the situation to light so that this does not happen again to anyone else's pet. This was a shortcut used to save time at the cost of my animal. It was inhumane, illegal and wrong. I have no reason other than to prevent this from ever happening to another animal again. We all make mistakes. This was poor judgement indeed. Please never let this happen again. Please accept the fact and live with it as I have to daily.
