I never write reviews but I thought it was important to let anyone know that may consider seeing Dr. Urrutia to be aware of my first and only visit. First, I waited 30 minutes in an empty waiting room. When I finally met her for a simple sinus infection, which I get at least once a year, she discussed my other medical conditions unrelated to my visit for over 20 minutes. As she went thru my paperwork, she kept shaking her head. I told her about the three medications I was on and the problems I had on other medications I had been prescribed in the past. In the end, she prescribed me two nasal sprays, one in which interacted with ALL THREE of the med's I am currently taking. I also expressed that I would not take any medication that caused weight gain. Turns out it's the third side effect of the prescription. Without knowing this info at the time, I filled the prescription and read the drug facts when I got home and was shocked she would have been so negligent. Of course I was unable to return the medication to CVS so I'm stuck with a $35 prescription for a nasal spray I can't even use. If I wouldn't have read the drug fact sheet from CVS, I might have had a more serious problem other than a sinus infection. Furthermore, her bedside manner was cold and her physical exam didn't even include checking my facial tissue for tenderness or my glands. In closing, I should have listened to my gut when I walked into the waiting room and it was empty..

She spends more time with her patient's. No cattle call your in and out. She insisted on test that discovered I had a silent M.R.I. at the age of 41. Without her care I would be dead today!
