Casino is so-so, arrived at 3pm just in time to get in line at the players club and sign up for the free buffet and $20 free slot club play. If you reach 10 points (basically play $40) they'll give you another $20 of free gambling money... Got our cards and got in line for the buffet. That's the trick, GO EARLY.

They have a great buffet here, and the price is reasonable. Caution - the seating is not large enough and the line to get in gets very long, especially on weekends and holidays. They often won't let anyone else in line up to 1 and 1/2 hours before the actual closing time of the buffet. So be sure to check the hours and go early.

NO BIG HOTEL. NO GOLF COURSE, SPA OR RESORT. JUST GOOD OLE GAMING FUN AND A GREAT BUFFET! THE BEST NON-SMOKING FACILITIES I'VE EXPERIENCED IN ANY SAN DIEGO AREA CASINO.

If you can't get to the Rio you have to go here. It get's crowded but it is so worth the wait. They have a great selection of seafood! Crab legs, shrimp, oysters and fresh sushi! We drive from San Diego just for lunch or dinner! I have never had much luck on the machines but we always hit the jackpot on the buffet.
