this place is close to the house. i stop by sometime.massage is ok. The feeling of being pampered is nice, but the massage itself is just okay and their forced tipping is simply annoying.

I'm really not sure how my therapist was able to exert as much pressure as she did. I feel like she had to have been doing like handstands on my back to push that hard with her elbows. And yes, it hurt...but in a "hurts so good" way. As others have mentioned, this is a Thai massage, so be prepared to be stepped on and be stretched in weird positions. But my back (which was full of knots and tension, to a point where it was getting hard to sleep it was so uncomfortable) wants me to marry May because it's in love with her. I'm cheap, but had no objection to the $40 they charge per hour. Totally worth it. This is the Best Thai massage in LA. Betty rocks!! Very friendly, clean, professional, and relaxing. The staff is so nice and so professional. Parking lot in back, and street parking is easy to find. Great deals it is like $40 for an hour.

The woman who gave me the massage was clearing her throat the entire time- for one, which totally grossed me out. Secondly, she spent the first 20 minutes rubbing my skin through a towel, which was super uncomfortable. I had to ask her if she planned on using any lotion or oil, she finally did once I said something.
