If you ever want to consider a cellphone service, get Verizon out of your mind. The phone service is good enough but it is extremely expensive in comparison with other cell phone companies that are just as good and with better plans. If you ever decide to leave them, they are impossible to deal with when you try to pay their early termination fee. You have to go through hoops, play cat and mouse just to speak to someone about setting up a payment arrangement. Don't think the store will help you, they don't have your account anymore if you've left. Even when you're trying to pay them back they make it difficult. Verizon has an automated service that directs you to where you would pay an account no longer active but when you finally reach someone they say, "I found the account but this is not the right department." Then get ready to wait again until you reach the same department. I did this, I explained it to the guy, he had to find the right department for me, but I was not able to get my problem solved because you can't reach an agreement on what to pay and they want you to call in to make payments. It is extremely difficult to speak to the right department. Then they say that if you make a late payment or make less of what they told you to pay back, you may face some extra fees. So, word to the wise, stay away from this cell phone company. If you don't listen to me, you'll be sorry in the end, mark my words.
