The food is not too bad but it's overpriced and the service was terrible the last time I went. The waitress almost killed my friend by failing to properly suss out her allergy with the chef despite being clearly told, then had the cheek to try and charge us for the dish anyway!

Sure it's gone through a few different owners over the last couple of years, but let me tell you, the family that is now in place knows exactly what they are doing! And what they are doing is creating a whole new dining experience, that is cleverly paired with a mind-blowing wine selection that together will keep you coming back....I know, 'cause I go there at least once a week. Great creative food, wine that will please even the most discerning palate, and a warm atmosphere that was clearly lacking until Stephen McGuffin and his family took things over, with special kudos to wine expert Chris Reid who has an uncanny way of providing just the right wine to compliment the exciting new menu! Highly Recommended ***** !

Vine has gone through a recent renovation and a menu change. I think both are terrific. The menu provides a lot of choices. My pork chop was succulunt and my friend's steak was perfectly cooked. The sides and appetizers were especially yummy. We'll be going back very soon.

My friends and I formed a dinner club and we visit a new restaurant every month. We went to Vine on August 10. Everything was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and the wines and they were very accommodating for our large crowd.

Vine is a great restaurant that is nicely located right in the Highlands. Great spot for a date night. A bit pricey though....worth checking out!

Have been eating here for years and love it. Food is always great, service is good. Sunday wine pairings are fun. Chefs table is a great way to celebrate a special day with a close group of friends.

atmosphere: trendy yet cozy and not pretentious food: beef tartare for appetizer was good if you like meat on the raw side. i had the shrimp and corn risotto. good but too salty. overpowered the sweet corn. the shrimp was cooked just right, not to limp and mushy. my wife had a thick pork chop which was very good, better than my dish. not too salty like the risotto. dessert was a mexican chocolate cake. has a bit of a spicy kick to it which made it interesting but good. portions: a little small on the appetizer and desserts, entrees were okay. oddities: no salt (not that i needed it) or pepper (would liked to have had it) on the tables. if it was overlooked, fine. if it's because the chef feels his/her food doesn't need enhancement, then that's a little snobby for me. service: good overall. would have been better if waiter would have introduced himself. overall: definitely a place to check out but won't change your world or anything

VINE is my favorite place to go intown. The food is always delicious, and they change the menu every few months so there is always something new to try. VINE has an extensive wine list and full bar. They have drink specials on some weeknights- 1/2 price wine on Mon, $5 martinis on Tues, and $10 wine tasting every Wed. The wine tasting is great- and if you stay for dinner, the $10 is deducted from your check. The atmosphere is very cozy, relaxed, and inviting, but sophisticated and elegant enough to entertain your most discriminating friends and colleagues. It can get busy on Saturdays, so Fridays might be better for spur-of-the-moment dining. They also have outdoor seating, perfect for after work gatherings or romantic summer dining. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner and chef always find time to greet you personally. You won't be disappointed!

Vine is one of those restaurants you want to like. It is definitely in tune with the trendy restaurants of Atlanta. Its upscale decor and bistro menu are comfortable and pleasing. Unfortunately, nothing about the dining experience is suprising or engaging. The food is good, but for the price there is better available just a short distance away. It was worth trying once, but nothing about it made me want to go back.
