Matt Walters began his personal training career in Deerfield, IL in 1985. He received his personal training certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) while working with professional athletes such as Michael Jordan, Ryne Sandberg, Carlton Fisk and Scottie Pippin.
Matt spent over 12 years training for major health facilities such as East Bank Club (Chicago), Mid-Town Athletic Club (Highland Park) and Fitness Formula Club (Lake Forest).
Training.. for these health organizations laid the foundation of Matt's expertise. It was those experiences that led him to develop Vitality in-home personal training. His service area covers the entire suburban area northwest of Chicago, as well as downtown Chicago.
Matt's passion and knowledge is focused on keeping people active throughout their lives. Over the years, Matt has coached hundreds of clients for weight loss/fat reduction, strength gain, performance and flexibility.
He implemented a 12-week body transformation program in 1998 that significantly improved body composition in all his clients who participated. Through proper exercise and nutrition, the average weight loss was 35-50 pounds in just 12 weeks.
In March of 2014, nearly 16 years after developing his 12 week program, Matt introduced his new six-week program. The 12-week transformation plan was redesigned into a concentrated new diet strategy and exercise protocol. The results are nothing short of amazing.
