The decor is rustic and intimate with light colored wood, sand colored walls and cozy booths. Viva Zapata's! serves healthy traditional Mexican cuisine with an emphasis on steak and combination platters, with chicken, beef, pork, and seafood entrees. They offer a wide selection of appetizers, soups, salads, build your own quesadilla, tortas(Mexican sandwiches), side dishes and desserts. They have a full bar with domestic and imported liquors, wines and beers.
The food is delicous and the staff is friendly. However the food is overpriced. The staff (or is it the kitchen) is slow. Parking is impossible and of the 4 take out orders we've had all of them were wrong! There are better Mexican restaurants in town.

This is by far the best Mexican resturant EVER! It is in the Northeast part of the valley, my husband and I live in the Summerlin area. We definately go out of our way to get there. It is so worth it. Whenever company comes to town, Viva Zapata is top on the list. I have been going there since 2000. So 7 years worth of this yummy food. Atmosphere is fantastic. The service is wonderful. Parking can be a pain, again it is worth it. Definately worth the drive. I recommend it to EVERYONE!

We love eating at Viva Zapata's. It has a very casual atmosphere. Very authentic food. Freindly and fast service. Great for lunch or dinner. The Fajitas are awesome!!

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We love the freshly handmade flour tortillas (don't forget to tip the tortilla lady) and the delicious chips, salsa and beans. We usually get the 3 taco combination with chicken and beef and the steak hacendados. With the meals you get a light fideo soup which rounds off the meal. They have real shredded chicken and beef for the tacos which they fry altogether with lettuce and cheese. We've never had a bad meal. Get there early...parking is tough and the waiting area is miniscule. We usually call for a takeout order. Just make sure you check everything before you leave because sometimes mixups occur when they are too busy. They also have live music but I'm not sure of the times.
