They collect books, cds, dvds, etc. all year and have a huge sale. This is the place if you love books. You must go early for the best selection, though it is half-price on Sunday. It does help to bring something to carry around your selections.

If it's resonably priced books and LOTS of them, then this is your place to come every February! Usually prices are hardback $1 and paperbacks $0.50 on Saturday and half that on Sunday! With such low prices and so many books, you can't go wrong! One draw back is the $6 fee to park in the Coleusum parking lot so you don't walk a mile or so, but then that's not the folks at the VNSB sale, but the Coluseum. Come early for best selection or Sunday for better deals. Its a WINNER!

This is my favorite Phoenix "event!" I mark it on my calendar a year in advance and eagerly await the next sale. It is a fabulous opportunity for a bookworm like me to stock up on some great books at an amazing price. Most paperbacks are a $1 on Saturday, and on Sunday almost everything is 50% off! They sell all kinds of books too. Childrens books, fiction, cookbooks, religious books, rare books, first editions, signed books. It is all there. Just thinking about it gets me excited to go in Feb 2008!
