This place has improved since it renovated despite the ghetto-ness of the area. Decent sized parking lot size, Starbucks inside, nice flower selection, larger produce area and general improvements to the look of the place. It's looking as good as most Ralph's without the price tags. They still have the same lower quality meats and dairy. But what really distinguishes this place is the staff. They have the Ralph's ambiance of a modern grocery store, but the customer service is still the same non-trained, unfriendly staff which is very uncharacteristic of most other Vons' I have been too.

Vons grocery store is in a convenient location, but most of the items are very pricey. I do like the fact that the store is clean and well lit, but food and cleaning supplies are pricey. For example a 64 oz carton of soymilk is over four dollars.
