Every single employee should be ashamed to work here. Worst customer service ever. They will not answer calls during storms. I've been without power for 36 hours without a single call back. Also I called weeks ago to get an insulated line installed near my house. No one has called me back. Honestly a horrible company.

Horrible...customer service is the lowest I have ever experienced..someone had tampered with the meter had several people in and out doing work but because I had signed the lease they tell me I have to pay a 300 dollar tampering fee I own a generator and had been staying in a motel till the house was in livable condition..I was told they would break up the payments for the 300 over the phone only to get a blank disinterested stare from a supervisor and a big grin and smirk from the clerk..I have never felt so humiliated and condesended to.horrible people ..I was willing to pay the fine even though it was not my doing.so I will stick with living off the generator...they are gods of power in more ways than one..they could have broke this up for me and I would have paid but now I am so disgusted..but there is no other way to go.horrible horrible horrible people when they play gods with your home and life..even have receipts for the past 3 weeks of staying in the motel

3/30/2015 I was a longtime customer, and the contract expired. No courtesy email or call though I was with them close to 10 years. I feel cheated by them. Customer service reps were not troubled at all that I was upset that all winter I paid .99 per therm. Not understanding why the bills were so high, I turned heat down to 63 trying to fix it, so freezing wearing coats inside, etc. Of course, I should have realized what had happened, but have a very busy life and missed it --- It became obvious speaking to customer service that this is a good way for the company to make more money, and it is a policy not to inform customers.

If you don't cancel on the correct date (which is not volunteered by anyone) of the month, you will be charged $20 for one day of 'service', even if you don't use one therm or CCF! The dates on your bill are NOT the 'cut-off" date for the gas company. Terrible business practice and the lame explanation is "we can't help it-those are the AGL terms"-baloney! You could tell customers important information like that on the bill. Total rip off after multiple connection fees!

My 90 year old grandmom just had heart surgery. I never had gas before. I had just moved loganville. I called to set up gas service at my new residence.i called walton emc natural gas and was told I had to pay non refundable $100 dollar meter installation and a $50 start up fee. Then I was told it would take two weeks for them to deliver a meter. Now its 9° outside and the power has went off at walton emc and we have no gas. And my grandmother oxygen machine dont work. In addition the receptionist was very rude, unprofessional, uncaring, down right nasty to me in the phone.

After a couple of encounters with bad attitude from their customer service reps, I'm moving on to a different marketer. Walton's per-therm prices aren't the best anymore anyway, and there's enough competition out there that I don't have to put up with rudeness.

After being enticed to sign up for a one year contract at supposedly the lowest rate. There competitors come out with a 10% cheaper rate. (BE CAREFULL THEY WILL BURN YOU IF THEY CAN ---- THERE ALL CROOKS)

A few months ago I submitted an online order to switch to Walton EMC. A few days later, I got an automated email response that my credit wasn't good enough. Since I've had A+ credit scores for years, I panicked thinking I might be a victim of identity theft and actually paid to pull my credit report and FICO scores from Equifax that day. Sure enough, all was just fine. I called Walton and the rep said sometimes their initial scoring system is wrong, and the only thing she could do was ask a supervisor to run a complete credit report. But by this time, the new monthly rates (much higher) had just come out, and she said I would be stuck with those regardless of whether it was their fault the order wasn't processed when submitted - without so much as an apology for all this. I got the feeling she believed I was a deadbeat who was making it all up. Since they seemed to be comfortable treating a potential customer this way, I gave up and won't be trying again.

We've been with Walton EMC for several years for Natural GAS. Their prices continue to be the best. I haven't had a need to call customer service - no problems.

i have been a customer of Walton EMC since 1973, and when I consider changing for a better rate for gas, I find that they are always the best value available. I have never had a problem with the service or any billing issues. Highly recommend this service.
