My wife and I went last night and we both thought the food and wine were good. The overall experience, however, was somewhat disappointing in how slow the service was. I would go back, but would be just as willing to try somewhere else.

Watershed is an excellent dining facility and the food is prepared well. I went this week and had an amazing time. The cocktails are particularly worth noting. However, the chef seems to want to put Southern kitsch into every dish. Mac-n-cheese. Okra, etc. I know it's a southern food restaurant, but I thought it -- in several dishes -- simply got in the way. Watershed also seems to set a low bar for itself. It easily hurdles it. But these dishes for the most part are uncomplicated Southern stereotypes: Pork chop, collard greens with Mac-n-cheese. I'd like to see Watershed stretch its menu a bit and stop relying so much on "home style" food.

I first went to Watershed for dinner a few years ago. It was very loud and the food was fairly expensive and bland. My husband refused to go back but i was willing to give it another try. I went back the other day and I'm still sick!! First of all, almost every item on the lunch menu is either pork or red meat or has lots of mayo so this is a problem for me. I did find a salmon that I could have though and was excited. It was a fried salmon cake with sour tomatoes. It tasted OK. Definitely nothing to write home about but certainly edible. The problem was the after effect a few hours later. It was the worst food poisoning I had ever had. Not I cannot prove this 100% but let me tell you that I had skipped breakfast that day and was sick a few hours after I got home. I just do not think anything else could have caused it. I was sick all night and better the next day. It was a classic case of food poisoning! Nice staff and I wish them well but sadly I will not be back.

Heard great things about the restaurant, tried it ourselves and not really sure what the hype is about. The restaurant is a renovated service/garage station, but I still felt like I was sitting in a garage, my chair was uncomfortable, the heater/ac was loud and the color scheme reminded me of the 80's--teal and pink--eww. The food was good, but not great and not worth the price we paid for it. We might go back one more time to try the fried chicken night, but otherwise we'll be going elsewhere.

I didn't think I even liked fried chicken, but I went on a Tuesday night, the only night they have it. I had to sit at the bar (it was only 5:30 and it was already full). It was a strange sensation to look around and see every plate with the same meal on it: fried chicken. But when mine came, I knew the reason why. This is the real deal.

Maybe the fact that we visited on a weeknight and arrived 20 minutes before closing had something to do with it, but our meals were unimpressive, mediocre at best. Only desserts were good. Canned salmon used for the salmon cakes was the lowlight of this meal

Watershed is a wonderful restaurant. Everything on the menu, from the bread to the desserts and everything inbetween is great. The restaurant is light and open and the clientelle is always local.

I had heard so many good things about Tuesday fired chicken night, so we went. I was disappointed. The chicken was goo, not fantastic and everything seemed a little too expensive. Service was average.

The fried chicken is the best in town!, but get there early 'cause they run out. To show how great the servers are. I got there late on Tues and they were out of chicken, so I settled on the Catfish. The server was so nice that she scraped up a piece of chicken in the back to top off my catfish and didn't even charge me.

I had the catfish and it was a tiny whole fish fried. I'm not even sure it was catfish. There was very little meat on the bones and it had no flavor. I also became sick later that night. Save your money and avoid.

Our engagement, my 30th birthday, and a wonderful place to set aside an evening to catch up with friends--Watershed has been home to many of my most treasured memories. And the food is unique and delicious. I highly recommend it!

I've been to Watershed numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The food is delightful -- I always order the vegetable plate for an appetizer for the table. The atmosphere is trendy, yet romantic. Only issue I have is the noise level. There is no type of noise buffering dividers between tables, so the noise level can be overwhelming. Waitstaff is solid.

They have a wonderful wine selection for consumption there and at home! The staff whether selecting a bottle for now or later has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Weekends were meant for having their hummus and cheese plates with a good bottle of wine!

I read the reviews before going for the first time to brunch. One review stated something about the service. I wanted to be objective so I went in with an open mind. I was with a date, so he ordered for me and the other person with us. When my dish came, me and the other invitee wanted butter. The waitress readily brought her butter but not mine. I asked again and she leaned over and said "your toast already has butter", now I was trying to be nice by telling her its for my grits...BUT IN THE BIG SCHEME OF THINGS IT SHOULD NOT BE HER BUSINESS WHAT I DO WITH THE BUTTER, WAX THE FLOOR, BRUSH MY TEETH OR BUT IT ON MY BUTT....I didn't say anything though. But when I looked down and lifted this "already buttered toast" a long hair was hidden in the eggs. I stopped eating and let them take my plate...I didnt particularly like my date, didnt like the service so why bother asking them to bring something else. I wont be going back...nor sending any one there...
