I hadn't had my daughter in day care until she was three. At that point I was worried that she wouldn't be ready for kindergarten so I decided to put her part time in "school". On the advice of my boss I went and spoke with the teacher. My biggest concern was that she wouldn't get the love she got at home. I was wrong. She has advanced so much. The other day in the car she started counting and she was up to 27 and I was thinking "Who taught you that?" The differnce is amazing and she loves it. It is priced very well and the home environment is just what we were looking for. They have a schedule with activities just like school but with the care that a mom or grandma would take. They genuinely care about me and my child and more people should act like the teacher at Wee Pals in general. I couldn't be happier.

My friends will tell you don't mention Day Care around me because steam starts pumping out of my ears & I start to loose it! I go rampant about how I have to pay for days they're closed, & since they have what seems like more holidays than the government not only do I have to pay for the day, I end up taking a vacation day to stay home with my kid (Thats not a bad thing to stay home with him, its just the point!) Over a year they're closed 12+ days for holidays. My wife & I get 7 holidays so we end up using a weeks vacation time just to cover day care holidays! Also, I have to be there in 60 minutes if the kid gets a slight fever, I get treated like a low life form with all the rules, regulations & signs. The newest sign emerged on the only restroom with a door & says 'Employees Only'. What if I got to use the restroom after driving an hour to pick up my kid? I get to use the kiddy one with no door! But once you get over all that & learn to bend over, pucker up & take it in stride, than this place rocks. This isnt like other cares where they just let the kids play all day. It's a little on the pricey side, but for the development I see in my kid, it's worth it. The staff has a genuine concern of the kids, the teachers are exceptional & help the kids develop mentally. They teach the kids awesome manners & have a very structured environment. If you have to put your kids in a day care, I would highly recommend this one! Just get along with their system and it will all be fine!
