I live across the street from this store and I buy bird seed at least once a week. For the past three weeks, the store was out of stock on the seed I usually buy because the new owners were transitioning to a new vendor. The new stock arrived on a Friday and I was charged double the price I usually pay. I returned to the store two days later (Monday) to purchase additional seed and saw that the seed had been re-priced - reduced by half. I spoke with the owner and she said that it took time to review the costs vs. the price points and that customers would just "have to understand" when things like this happened. She offered no apology for overcharging me, and kept reiterating that customers would simply "need to understand". What I "understand" about these new owners is that they care nothing about customer satisfaction/service and take no responsibility for overcharging a frequent customer.
