also in Massachusetts. After completing her internship and residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Hurst became an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
In addition to treating women in the Englewood community, she has served as the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology representative to the operating room committee and has served as a trustee of the Board of the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation. She has been physician liaison to the Englewood Hospital Breakfast Club, one of its charity organizations.
Her compassion and care for patients extend beyond the clinic and hospital. Dr. Hurst is a member of the Urban Women's Health Advisory Group, which seeks to identify research opportunities and partnerships to improve urban women's health. She also serves as an overseer on the board at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was recently appointed to serve as the inaugural chair of the Health Advisory Board of the Center for Global Women's Health there.
