Before you even consider going here google West Coast Auto Craft, you will see he is running a Ponzi scheme. He puts on a great show, talks a good talk but will never finish your car. He will take your money and hide your car then hold it for ransom. He is currently under investigation by BAR, Sonoma county DA and the Windsor PD. He took my car kept it for over 2 years and did very little work but was more than happy to keep asking for money to complete the work he never did. He will lie and lie and lie to get more money. He has done this to dozens of people. Call BAR and the BBB. Windsor PD will be happy to talk to you as will the DA and give you the facts. He is talented but he used his talent to lie and steal instead of building a business. This shop has moved to Windsor and is no longer in Cloverdale.

Not worth one star. Chris had my 1979 F250 pick-up truck for 18 months. Lied about the location of my truck, the work that had been done on it, and the progress on the painting. After 18 months, my truck was located at a discount paint shop and NONE of the work he said had been done, was done. He would not even pay the discount shop for their labor. He will tell you lie after lie, give you excuses after excuses and in the end, you WILL have lost your money. Look at the judgements against him and West Coast Auto Craft. This is not an honest man or reputable company. Do not give him a dime. Even if your vehicle gets worked on, more than likely it will be by a discount shop. He is an expert scam artist. This is what $13,000 gets you after 18 months. You have been warned.
I contacted West Coast Auto Craft to restore my 1979 F250 pick-up truck. Nothing was ever done to my truck and Chris Miranda lied to me every time I talked about my project. He gave the truck to a discount paint shop and was charging me top dollar for a "professional" paint job. He never told me that cheap materials were going to be used. I had to pay the discount shop for the work they did, because Chris and West Coast Auto Craft refused to do so, just to get my truck back.

Like all the others I too was lied to, my car (A real 1969 Plymouth Road Runner) was kept outside all winter during the El Nino getting flooded and rusted all the while the owners told me it was safe inside. On Sept. 16th 2015 west coast auto craft picked up my car from residence after responding to a Craigslist ad I replied to that they had posted "time to get that classic painted" and took it somewhere, the next day the owner Chris Miranda called me asking for a $3000 deposit (which is illegal without a written estimate -per the state laws) (I had no estimate to date) so stupid me gave him my credit card information and they charged $4000 to it! I called and emailed them asking why and asked for a receipt (they ignored me or told me after a week of trying to get in touch with them they would get it right away which they did not) Oct 10th 3 weeks later I took my whole family to their shop for a visit and to see my car and to my surprise it was not there, when I asked them where it is they said it was at a media blasters in Sac. at that time I made Chris print out a receipt for the $4000 he took from my credit card and he did.(it only took a face to face visit to a shop 2 hours away from me to get it) for the first 5 months I didn't want to believe the owners BS lies and the stories from all the others on yelp and Facebook were true and kept thinking they will get it done, but after it was clear they had done nothing to my car after telling me in month 2 that it was at a med

A filthy liar and nine time convicted felon he steals from people with his phony business and chronic lying. His business is a sham and he is a drug addict. He was convicted of transporting narcotics and distribution in New Jersey. He's also a pedophile and was arrested for molesting his niece.

Chris Miranda took a 7,500.00 check from me along with my car promising to get busy on it . Many months later I had to get my car out of there and feel very fortunate I did. He still owes me 7.500.00 that he refuses to give me. Just excuse after excuse , lie after lie , Save yourself the heartache , learn from several peoples mistakes , check yelp and google , you'll see

Hires guys and never seems to have money, on top of employees that dont show up on the books he brings in "apprentices" and never moves them up or puts them on payroll (if u can call it that) and squeezes out every bit he can. Makes sense he'd screw over customers, screwed over a long time friend too. Beware of this thief(yes chris miranda, wifes the same) and dont support his exploits

The guy leaving the negative reviews about this shop is a liar. He is nothing more than someone trying to hurt good people over a personal dispute. If you want the truth just drive to the shop, meet the crew, look at their work, and call their references. I am one of those references and 3 cars later they still get my business and my appreciation.

Con artist. Liar. My experience is the same as 59chevy. Several years and my car isn't out of primer after $30k. I highly suggest taking your classic elsewhere if you want to enjoy the outcome. @Mike, You sound like Chris Miranda himself. Plenty of unsatisfied WCAC customers out there.

These guys did an amazing job on my Camaro. It is the straightest and smoothest black paint job anyone has ever seen. Absolute show stopper. The last painter that did a classic car for me took three years. West Coast Auto Craft did my car (including floor pans, quarter panels, body, and paint) in an amazing 6 months.
