This firm charged my parents $400 to do their taxes and then told my parents they owed $28,0000 to the government. Turns out Mr. Westbrook filled out the paperwork incorrectly and they only owed $12,000 for capital gains tax. He never reduced the bill of the $400 for doing the paperwork incorrectly and for the aggravation/stress he caused. In addition, he was not the one to figure out the mistake...only after he was questioned did he see his mistake. He never apologized but instead he made inappropriate jokes about it towards my father and still never adjusted the total bill. Now, when my parents call to question another expenditure that should be owed to them, he does not return their call. I would caution anyone who is looking at this firm to do their taxes...look elsewhere!!

I have worked with this CPA firm with Tom Westbrook and Chris. These are two smart CPA's. I first worked with them in 1996 while at a Med Mal Law firm here in Atlanta for over 10 years. I was the controller of this law firm. Mr. Westbrook and Chris would meet with me quarterly, year-end, and then do our year- end tax filings. Handle our 401/Profit accounts, Trust accounts, and Tax Accounts. I found both to be very professional and knowledgeable. My employer later pasted away, and they helped to close the law firm practice books with the estate. From there I went to another corporate position and obtain their company, actually these two individuals to handle their tax issues which they reviewed the documents and accepted the assignment and got this corporation back on track. I have recommended this company to a lot of business associates with great success and can tell you from experience that these two gentlemen have a lot of knowledge and charge a fair dollar for their services rendered.

Our relationship with this accounting firm started disappointing. Monthly sales and use forms were filled out incorrectly, and because of this, I had to re-do them all over, and then re-submit them to the GA Dept of Revenue. However, we still tried to work with them because we needed our business tax forms completed. When the business tax filing deadline came (March 15th), the accountant I was assigned, filed an extension. However, when I called and e-mailed him to get the status of our tax forms about 1 month later, he never returned neither. This had me concerned, so I called one of the partners, Mr. Bray, but he too never returned my phone call. This put a bad taste in my mouth about this firm, and they have caused me to have a lot frustration and late fees through the IRS. So caveat emptor when dealing with this firm.
