Dr. R and her team are the absolute best in the area. Dr. R is patient, respects the caretaker's beliefs in caring for their pets, she is honest, straightforward, and truly cares and loves her patients. They also make time for emergency's and just simply provide a level of comfort when our pets have been going through health challenges. The team there is like family, and they have joined us in our journey with our "kids". I would recommend Dr. R to anyone.

Over the past 11 years, Cherokee (female Doberman) and I have been to many different vets. Recently, in the past year we were referred to Windy Hill. I cannot say enough about Dr. R and the staff there. I came in wanting a more holistic approach and wanted eastern philosophies and if western were needed we would incorporate. Dr. R was very respectful of these wishes and was very aware of this when creating Cherokee's treatment plan. She really did everything she could in keeping it as holistic as possible. She took what was important to me as Cherokee's caretaker and then added her experience and knowledge to come up with a treatment plan that worked for all of us. I also cannot say enough about the staff. They are really friendly and personable and it is obvious that they love their job and what they do. It is apparent that they enjoy where they work. I am really appreciative of the staff taking such an interest in our animals (we have two cats as well) and caring for them. I feel Dr. R and her clinic team are part of our family. Lately, with our circumstances (Cherokee just transitioned) they have shown their support and dedication again in the way they have reached out to us and shown their condolences during this difficult time. I would highly recommend Dr. R and team.

First of all, let me start off with saying I am one of those neurotic pet owners. Having worked in the veterinary field for 5 years, I have seen the worst of the worst and therefore expect a hairball to turn into an obstruction. Dr. Rottersman completely understands that and goes over everything she's thinking step by step. She answers all my questions, not matter how crazy they are. My cats love her and I trust her with them which for me and my fur babies, is HUGE. If you need a compassionate, understanding and thorough vet, look no further.

Excellent. They are the best, and I was referred to them by a neighbor. My poor boxer was hit by a car and was taken to the hospital where he was treated immediately and professionally. I honestly do not know if he was going to survive, and yet Kathy was able to save him after a very intense couple of hours. My neighbor has used them for years, and I can see why - very reasonable, knowledgeable, and caring.

I chose to take my gravely ill cat to Windy Hill because of the many favorable reviews. I agree the staff is competent and compassionate. They, fully, explained the diagnosis and the treatment options. They, also, took the time to listen to my concerns and feelings. They were friendly and reassuring. I have, already, recommended them to my mother, who owns two cats.

I have searched high and low in the Atlanta area for a vet for my rabbit and have been very unimpressed, even with the area's well-known "exotics" hospital. Then I found Dr. Rottersman. Despite the fact that she is more of a dog and cat vet, she is still the vet I trust most with my rabbit. She is quite knowledgeable about rabbits, despite the fact she doesn't see tons of them. She is *super thorough* in her exams, she is very thoughtful in her diagnoses, and she takes a ton of time with you and your pet. Despite the fact that she has a packed schedule, you never feel rushed -- she really takes a *ton* of time to make sure your questions are addressed. She has been especially patient with me being that I'm one of those people that has just enough medical knowledge to ask a ton of questions. She also has been exceptionally understanding about my 2 hour round trip to travel to her and has been very accommodating to me in that regard. She is soft spoken and super smart, but does not have an ego. Dr. R and her staff have never once tried to up sell me goods or services. (I realize vets have a business to run, but I find that particular practice very offensive.) Giving your pet good veterinary care is never cheap, but I would say that her prices are quite competitive. My 12 year old bunny and I are very blessed to find such a caring and thorough vet. I highly recommend Dr. Rottersman.

This is the easiest of all reviews. I have been going to Dr. Rottersman for the past 18 years. She is the kindest, most compassionate caring person / doctor that I have ever known. She has always been there for me and my dogs. Dr. R always takes the time to listen to your questions and spends quality time in answering them. She makes herself readily available and if she is not her staff is always there to assist you as well. I live in Alpharetta and continue to drive 40 plus miles across town - she is that good.

Our pooch, Pixie, is 13 years old and has had some serious health issues. Dr. Rottersdam is not an alarmist. She treats the animals with love and respect and gives the same to the pet owner. She has operated on Pixie several times and the results have been WONDERFUL! She's also flexible about my beliefs where shots are concerned. Not ego driven.

I've been taking my rescued beagle/bassett mix to Dr. Rottersman ever since I picked my pooch from a local shelter in 2003. My doggie was deathly ill for the first several months due to neglect of her previous owner. Dr. Rottersman treated her heartworms, spayed her, and helped me nurse my pet through a case of distemper all after another vet recommended that I return her to the shelter so that she could be put down. After five years of happy dog ownership, my dog is healthy thanks to the caring staff at Windy Hill. I highly recommend them!

I've known Dr. Rottersman for many years and she has seen me through numerous life problems-personal and with my cats. She's always compassionate, caring and professional. She goes the extra mile and will stay late and come in early to be there for her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Rottersman!

Did you know that they have Peacocks outside of Windy Hill Vets office. WHV treat them so good, they never leave. They are there to greet you! The Doctors at WHV are very professional and take there job seriously. They can always get you in, in a timely manner and they dont stick you with all of those hidden fees. Their goal is for your animals to get better. That is what I like best about WHV!!

This is a great place for your animal's health care. They've taken care of my dog Charlie for years. She is 14 now and very healthy. They even do surgery on hamsters.
