Like so many of the recent reviews I have read, my wife and I watched the "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" featuring Wood Chicks BBQ. The meat looked mouth watering, fall off the bone good. We were so excited that it was local in Chesapeake (we live in Portsmouth - 16 miles away) and we made special plans to try it. We went for lunch with the idea of buying some and taking it home for dinner as well. First off, let me say, unlike many reviews we have read, we were not upset with the portion sizes. The food was so bland, the meat quality was so bad and the sides were so underwhelming that we were glad there wasn't more to eat. My wife is from New York and she makes much better pulled pork. What a wasted trip. Thanks Bobby Flay for ruining our weekend. We could have gone to McDonald's instead.

The barbecue was pretty good but we could have eaten a little more. The cole slaw should be measured in number of strips of cabbage vs an actual serving. It might have been the smallest serving I have ever seen. The barbecue was great and we really enjoyed the variety of different barbecue sauces.
