I have been a loyal member for 5+ years. In this time, I have yet to see an investment in new/upgraded cardio equipment. The gym and equipment are old, constantly out of order, filthy and falling apart. There are basic pieces of cardio equipment; however, any of the pieces that offer a bit of variety are either out of order or have a line of people waiting to use them because there is only 1 to choose from (i.e. rower, inclined elliptical, inner/outer thigh trainer). The one inclined elliptical doesn't even work properly- incline "says" 20 but in reality only goes to ~6ish & shuts off if you switch from forward to backward. I selected this gym due to location but if you can afford a few extra minutes it's worth going to Planet Fitness down the road. Plus the weekend hours are terrible! On an extra note, when I provided this feedback (while yes it is negative and not easy to hear) they elected to cancel my membership without ever speaking to me live. They "said" they tried to call me; however, that never happened. I provided my correct number in case that was the issue and never heard from them - they just cancelled my membership. Goes to show you the level of customer service and investment they put in you as a member. Don't waste your time or money!

The facility is good. Plenty of equipment and most of the staff is friendly. However, I was disappointed with how I was treated after being hurt when a cable separated from the weights. At first they were helpful and told me to seek medical attention due to the location and severity of the injury. I contacted them to inquire about being reimbursed for my medical expenses. The manager and the owner accused me of purposely hurting myself to get money (the bar almost took out an eye and I'm a pilot). I told them I would sign any release they wanted, I just wanted to see if they could pay the medical bill. She continued to be nasty and disrespectful. I paid the medical bill myself which at least put me over my deductible:) I like the facility and would probably continue to work out there, but I'm too disgusted with how I was treated by the manager and owner.

This is a well run gym. The facilities are clean, the equipment is well maintained, and most importantly, the management knows how to control membership so that it's not an oversold/overcapacity situation like the other gym I belonged to. They're also good at weeding out obnoxious members.

WOW! This place is a palace compared to the gym I was a member of in TN. The first thing I noticed was the smell. There wasn't one! Next was the cleanliness, well maintained selection of equipment,& size of the aerobics program. There's something for everyone here including yoga, spin, boxing, freeweights, machines, & even a cardio movie theater & restaurant! I especially like the fact that I can use my phone app in place of a scan card to get in since I'm a forgetful person. It's hard to believe that I'm only paying 5.00 more here than I was for the sorry excuse for a gym in TN!

Employees act like you aren't doing them any favors by being a member. Customers are a nuisance apparently. Lockers are small! Place is clean but locker room is very cramped. Time to find a new gym.

This gym used to be at least okay, but now it's not even that. The employees are rude, especially the managers. The general manager (I forgot her name) is a robot. I've never met a more passive person in my life. I asked her a question about the showers in the locker room and she gave me the most satanic stare! I can't work out with my buddy because she can't bring her kid to the childcare area because her daughter no longer likes it and says it's boring. She was fine there a year ago but even she can sense something is awry now. The gym is clean but the customer service is non-existent and even worse now. Looks like I'm joining Titanz Fitness!

Good equipment and nice lockers but overall feel of the entire time I was a member of the club was the staff generally unhelp and put out. Never once did I have a sure no problem, there was always umm .. but. Turned in my notice that I was leaving the gym, made me adhere to my terms of the contract. Which I get and understand however, THEY KEPT CHARGING MY CARD AFTERWARDS and now have sent me account to a horrible Indian Collections agency. Plenty of other nice gyms with friendlier more helpful staff

The best in town. They have every machine you need and the gym is extremley clean. They have cleaning wipes all over the place. I love all the great classes they provide. They get me motivated to come to the gym. The employees are helpful when you have any workout questions.
Terrible experience with this gym, poor service, very bad billing policy. Have been a member for over the 1 year contract period and am now a month to month non-contract member, but yet they still require that I pay 2 months in advance before I can cancel my membership? This makes no sense and wasn't disclosed up front. If you forget your membership card, they charge you $5 to access the gym even if you're paid in full and provide valid ID! DO NOT go here, there are tons of better gyms within 5 miles that do not have dishonest business practices, and cost 1/10 of what this ripoff place does

Everyone has the choice to do a one year contract with us, or a month to month agreement. We give everyone 7 days to cancel and be fully refunded after joining also. We try to be very clear on all details up front, because we have nothing to hide. We are a team dedicated to changing people's lives for the better, and take pride in that. If something has occured that you feel bad about, please come and talk to management rather than make statements online that are hurtful and illegal slander. We are here to provide a clean, friendly, and state of the art upscale gym working towards the goal of a healthier Georgia. Any comments about our contracts could have been avoided if the contract was reviewed or if you just chose the month to month option. We are very clear, and the 1 year contracts are exactly as it sounds- 1 year contracts. Nothing more than that, and so long as you have the money to pay as you promise every month like 99% of our members, there will never be an issue. We make exercise fun rather than a chore, so try us out for a day for free if you have any doubts! :)

STAY AWAY! Their contracts are only used to the corporate advantage and do not protect 'members'. I am finally free of these criminals (I think...we'll see if my account is drafted again next month). I am filing with the Better Business Bureau. GOOD RIDDANCE, WORLD SCAM!

I worked as a corporate manager for LA Fitness for many years, and was encouraged by members to come work for WorldGym. After having my 3rd child I decided to move there. The differences for the members is huge. 1.NO CRIME!!Zero break ins, and that is the lowest of any gym in the state of GA!WorldGym has cameras inside and out, and Smyrna Police periodically drive by.2.SOOO much cleaner.3.They are firm on prices,so no haggling like LAF.4.They charge NO initiation fees like LAF.5.WorldGym has a higher class of members=less problems.6.They have a movie theatre inside.7.WorldGym has way better classes, and more of them!Mbrs are treated better at WorldGym than LAF hands down.
