I Love this place. Ive gotten two pieces done there now and will continue to get my work done there. They are very fair and efficient. Not to mention the cleanliness. The 4 or 5 times Ive been there someone is always cleaning something and each artist cleans there tattoo stations thoroughly and often.

My family and I went into Alley Kat to get tattoos for my uncle who passed away in March of this year. We got great service, called in ahead of time and Will set aside a good chunk of time for just my family,& Antoinette was very compassionate about our loss, just goes to show that there are people in the world that still care :) I live in Minnesota and will definately wait till I go to Arizona for all my tattoo and piercing needs just to I can go to Alley Kat. :) Thanks again for all the great work Will! I love my new tat! :)

The one woman I did see was rude. It made zero sense to pay additional for what I wanted considering I brought with my phrase, in exact size and exact font. That left tracing the image. $40 for that? Instead of straight along my side might as well make the phrase curved for what I am paying. It took an hour for the person to call me over! Getting exact trace then having to curve 4 words is a lot to ask for when paying $100 I guess. 3 failed attempts later he got it placed right. Now I have my share of tatts, which were done by a few different artists. I even know the importance of getting a remembrance tattoo done. I was there for just that reason because my late husband had passed. Easy enough what to talk about right? I showed him his picture, tried little comments but got nothing but a few lame 1-liner replies. My mind off pain by chatting was not happening. I got there at 7p.m., all set and ready with what I wanted. By the time, all was said and done it after 9p.m. when I left! The whole experience was a train wreck. When I got home, I was expecting a misspelling. Would not have been surprised.

My sister and I decided we were going to go for matching tattoos, we went down to Alley Kat after hearing some good things. We were treated amazingly, the two artists there were amazingly friendly. John(sp?) gave us both superb tattoos and paid close attention to what we wanted, after that Haile(sp?) gave my sister a piercing with ease. Overall it was super friendly and super clean, I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I worked with an artist- Alysia for awhile to get my tattoo ready, and she came out to ask if I was ready- then I saw a pit bull running around the shop, which I was told was the owners dog and that it was "OK because hes friendly." I asked politely if they could ensure the dog was not running around in the room I was being tattooed since it is not hygienic, and so the dog couldnt bump me while being tattooed. The artist disappeared to "ask," and the owner came out and very rudely said they would not do my tattoo since there was nothing wrong with her dog being there- which all employees agreed on, and that I was rude to her artist to have her draw the tattoo "over and over again", and that they were "not making enough money on me anyway" and other rude and horrible things. I reacted shocked at her response, asking what was so wrong with keeping the dog out and why she thought I was so rude. I was met with someone who was unbelievably rude and unprofessional, and obviously manipulative and uncaring. I was so shocked! It took them 30 minutes to give me money back, and they made me wait outside in the cold! Then my fiancee tried to calmly ask what the problem was, and she called the cops! The cops said she shouldnt have a dog there, and she went OFF on the cop! They nearly arrested her! I called the health dept and BBB to report them. If you want a professional, kind, friendly, CLEAN environment, check out Top Rocker Tattoo-Chris is AWESOME! Im glad Alley Kat didnt do my tat!

I know artists who have been very unhappy working there. The owner likes to create a lot of drama to keep the shops competing. Makes for a bad soap opera. The owner also makes all the artists buy their supplies from her and charges double of what they could purchase supplies from a local dealer. Also likes to hold thier paychecks for varoius reasons to let them know whos the boss. I know first hand that when an artist leaves she cancels their last check.

I'm a professional tattooist who worked for them briefly. Alley Kat already has a very bad reputation but I still feel it's my duty as a professional to protect people from that place. Alley Kat hires just about anyone off the street who says they tattoo. I've seen a lot of really bad tattoos come out of that shop. I've seen many of their artists do things that could have easily given their customers a disease. Please do plenty of research before entrusting anyone with your physical appearance and most importantly health.

The artists are phenomenal and they work you in at the drop of a hat. They do awesome work and create a relaxing atmosphere. I'd recommend everyone to go see them!
