I planned a baby shower at this location. It was extremely difficult to get the information necessary for planning, estimating cost, and deciding on food choices. It became clear the store was ill-prepared for hosting events, even small ones. Phone calls and emails were not returned in a timely manner, and we were not sure if we would have the food we ordered as late as the day of the shower as we did not receive confirmation. The food and drinks were fine, although the food differed from what we had ordered (fairly important when considering that at least one of the attendees was pregnant and some foods would not be safe during pregnancy). There were no apologies for the delayed responses, and a customer service attitude was completely lacking. Unprofessional. This may be a fine place for an individual visit, but I cannot recommend it for a planned event. I wish we had gone with one of our other choices.

When you walk into tahCha, you immediately can see the thought that went into the tea house. This is an inviting atmosphere with an excellent variety of tea. Also, the choice of pastries are wonderful (however, very very expensive pastries). However, the service is awful. I tried to just brush it off because the place is so adorable and a place I could see me hanging out with a couple girlfriends, but we were shocked that it took nearly an hour to make a panini. Also, when the server brought out the panini, he said, "Just so you know, this panini takes an hour to make." What? I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but for the price of the pastries and the service, I gave it 4. I probably will go back as I believe in giving second chances.
