My family has been using Ellington for 20+ years. We know if David says something is needed - you can trust him. It is hard to find honest car repair places, but here is one to remember. One time, I brought my car in with a problem,so they checked it out and found the problem. David told me it had another 3000 miles before he needed to do the work - just bring it back then! He put it back together and did not charge me anything. They also are very fair and competetive in their prices. David is hands on with everything in his business and his professional, honest behavior shows with every job they have done for us.

I made the mistake of going to another transmission shop first, they told me I had destroyed my trans by driving it after it malfunctioned and a complete rebuild would cost 3000.00. They did not even check the trans or do any tests on it. I decided to get a second opinion and went to the closest place to my home. 3 hours after I dropped it off ,David called to tell me it was a range sensor and the total repair would cost 380.00. They could have very easily told me it would need a complete rebuild , especially since I had told them what the other shop had said. Bottom line, the car works like new and it only cost about 10 percent of what the 1st shop quoted. Am I happy...You bet I am!!!

I've been taken for a ride at other transmission shops and the dealer before so I'm always concerned when trying to find a new shop. David and crew did a great job of finding and repairing a problem with my AWD transmission. No games, No B.S. and fair pricing. I have a new transmission shop and I can recommend them to you.

I was referred to David Burnley by American Corvette. David gave me an accurate estimate, saved me a lot of money over other repair shops in the area and did the work right the first time. They also provided a 36 Mo./50k mile warranty on the work.

The guys at this company rebuilt my transmission 3 years ago. Not only did they provide an unprecidented 36,000 mile warranty on the rebuild, but when I took my car back for a minor repair this spring, they replaced the sensor for free. No charge for the part or labor. These are great guys and run an honest businesss. Not too common these days.
