Southern Trim and Stair (iron baluster)

Robert 'trimmed' out our basement, paying close attention to the details that we wanted incorporated in our design. Robert's work is some of the best we have ever encountered. You will not go wrong by hiring this professional.

We hired Robert after someone attempted to install crown molding and made a mess of our nursery. Robert took down the improperly installed Crown and re-installed correctly and did another bedroom for us beautifully. He is exact, prompt and professional and we will hire him again in the future. I wanted to replace a staircase in my house to make it child friendly - the banisters were too far apart. Three people came over to give me an estimate. One of the people represented a well known company that was very professional, but only spent about 10 minutes at my house. The second person spent about the same time and told me he would charge 550 dollars in labor plus cost of materials for half a staircase (the other half is enclosed) for a grand total of 950 dollars. Robert came to my house and spent an hour discussing, in detail, why the current staircase was not sturdy nor up to code. Although my job was a small project, he treated it as if it were one from the Biltmore. He explained all the possible solutions to make it more sturdy (something the other companies did not do) yet he did not try to upsale. In fact, he tried to make it the most economical without sacrificing the aesthetic of the entrance way. He was efficient, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I spent about half what I would have had I hired one of the other companies. If you choose someone else, you will be missing the opportunity to work with an exceptional craftsman. He is a rare find!

Robert's work is amazing. His attention to detail, professionalism, skill, and service are off the charts. He is now on his second job in my home, and he will most certainly be back. The iron work on my stairs is spectacular, and the trim work throughout the house is polished, elegant, and perfect. You will not find a more meticulous professional in the business, especially for the unbelievable value that Robert delivers.

Robert replaced the wooden balusters in my staircase with wrought iron. He was very attentive to detail, professional, easy to work with. I would highly recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

We had our stairs updated with hardwood treads and put crown molding in thru-out our house and updated our old bathroom mirrors with frames. Robert did a beautiful job!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
