Your pet has been there for you through your toughest days, and although it is a painful decision to make, euthanasia is often the kindest gift you can give to your pet. It is an end to their pain and suffering. Euthanasia performed in your home allows you to control every aspect of your pets final moments. Many pets experience fear and anxiety when visiting the veterinarian's office. In-home pet euthanasia can make this difficult experience more intimate and peaceful, as well as more.. comfortable for your pet. We offer an alternative that may be better suited to your unique needs. At Sweet Dreams, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family, and we will treat them with the love and gentleness we would give our own. At the time of euthanasia, each family will receive a clay paw print to remember their beloved pet.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Unfortunately, we just had to have our beloved 13.5 year old dog put to sleep. This was a day we never wanted to think about, but his condition forced us to do it. We waited until it was painfully clear that our baby's condition was not going to improve, and we called Sweet Dreams. Leigh was so caring and compassionate on the phone, and she and Dr. Bahr were able to come to our house that same day. They both were so kind and comforting during such a difficult time for us. They took time to get to know us and our dog, and made sure that we were all as comfortable as we could be during our final moments together. As difficult as it was to do, we are so grateful that we chose this option. Our dog has always exhibited a great deal of anxiety going to the vet clinic, and we are so happy he was able to be comfortable and relaxed at the end of our time together. Thank you so much Leigh and Dr. Bahr for helping us through such a sad time.

Sweet Dreams did a great job. They were very caring and understanding of the situation with our 15 year old cat. The service was done in a very professional manner. If you need this sad service, they are the best to use. Highly recommended.

My 15 year old cat, Ewok, couldn't recover from his last battle with IMHA. He was suffering but I dreaded putting him into a carrier and driving him to the emergency center. Sweet Dreams was the very best choice I could have made. Ewok passed peacefully on his favorite bed. I stroked his head while he was sedated and finally euthanized. Dr. Crowder and Jessica were so patient and understanding. They listened to the tales of Ewok and my other rescues. Dr. Crowder consulted with Ewok's veterinarian to confirm the diagnosis. I highly recommend at-home euthanasia by Sweet Dreams when the time comes.

One of the most professional companies I have ever dealt with. From the first phone call to Dr. Crowder to the visit from Dr. Hendrix and her assistant - they were so caring to our dog and my wife and I. They explained everything and gave us peace. I am so thankful that we had them come in, my dog was allowed to say goodbye in her home on her bed and not in a vet. She passed with her favorite toy and Dr. Hendrix cared about our dog and us and even followed up with a hand written note days later. If you are even thinking about putting your loved one down, you need to use this company - we are thankful each day that our "fur kid" was with us in her last moments.

Having to put our dog to sleep was a very emotional and painful decision, however words can not express the thanks i have for Sweet Dreams. The ladies who came to our house were very kind, and sympathetic and really cared about us and our dog. They made sure my dog was comfortable and they made her last moments very peaceful, and that's what i wanted. I didn't want my dogs last moments to be in a clinical setting, she was stressed out every time i took her to the vet, so i was happy to know there was a company that would come to our home, and let my dog be in her environment, where she was happy and comfortable and loved. I am so glad that i was able to do this for my dog and am so very thankful for the staff at Sweet Dreams.

We ended up NOT utilizing the services of Sweet Dreams -- our pet was unable to be home at the time of his passing -- but Dr Crowder acted like a "counselor" to me on many occasions throughout his illness, after I contacted her about possibly making use of her service. Not sure why more vets won't allow pets to pass gently from their own homes, but our vet acted like we were overstepping our bounds by asking -- Dr Crowder understands why it's important, and was just SO sympathetic and helpful, that we will always remember.
