The Home Depot: Installed Windows

The windows were installed in a day and the work was excellent! They cleaned up the site and you couldn't tell they had even been there. They sealed the windows against the weather and left a neat finished look in the tooling. The windows were the vinyl type double hung and they proved to be just what we were told in operation and efficiency and as a bonus quiet[outside noise stays outside]!

Home Depot did an excellent job installing my Simonton windows. They are of the best quality and were nothing short of professional and courteous. I highly recommend Home Depot installing windows for everybody. They are a no haggle company and had the best price due to their volume of sales. They do a free estimate and consult with their customers (not "sell" their customers, they simply educate you as a consumer) Highly recommended!!!

I actually had the windows replaced 02/10 ... I've had the new windows well over a year and have loved every minute of them. They are easy to clean & maintain. The heating & cooling savings have been amazing. I've easily cut the bills from 1/4 to 1/2 of what they were normally running. To top it off, I get complements from everyone on how nice they look. I had used Home Depot on windows in a different house... and that is why I used them again. If I'm ever in need to replace again; Home Depot is who I'll use.

We initially planned to have three vendors come out and give us an estimate on how much it would cost to replace about 27 windows (yep lots of windows) in our 12yr old house. We thought we'd add The Home Depot just to get a "feel" for what a major business would cost us. Of all the "demos" we had to put up with The Home Depot was the best and the price was just too good to pass up compared to the other window people...great price and great quality and great name to back it up. Who could ask for anything more? Our next project will be the shower and garden tub in the master bath...think we'll go straight to The Home Depot and skip messing with the other guys.

I love my windows...i could tell a huge difference this winter! Although i spent a little more than I had expected; I am very happy with them. The installer was very professional and friendly.

Got all new windows for my 30 year old home. HD personnel were excellent throughout the sales and installation phases of the project. They demonstrated the windows, how they were constructed and how they wuld be installed, who would be doing the installation and how they were vetted. The windows arrived earlier than promised, were installed in one day and have performed well since the install. I had quotes from other top line window companies and HD products were much more economical than the others. The installation and window wrapping process appeared commensurate with what was promised by the other companies. My only concern was the use of strips of fiberglass insulation to fill the voids between the new windows and the old frames. I would much rather seen them use minimally expanding foam. The difference in inside temperature next to the window pane during the winter months was amazing. The inside surface of the old windows was always cold to the touch, whereas the new windows seem to cloes to room temperatur on the inside. I am thoroughly happy with the product, the installation and support from HD.

The windows are great, every bit as nice as your rep described. The Hurricane glass on the second floor makes life a lot easier, and it's good to know we have quality that will last, and help with our energy bills. The installers were punctual, quick, courteous, and left the house as they found it. We found that one of the picture windows had a crack. They were back a couple weeks later with a new one. Very satisfied.

We replaced almost 20 windows with more energy-efficient ones. From the first visit where Andrew the salesman took the time to appease the scientist in me to demonstrate the features of the window, through the verification visit, and installation, the outcome was PROFESSIONAL and EXCEEDED our expectations. However, the proof is in the pudding--that came this winter when the temp stayed below freezing and our electric bill for about 3k sqft stayed below $150.00! Definitely will go back to Home Depot PRO services again!
