March 21, 2017 Took my 2000 ML430 in because of power steering noises and thought I needed a new one. Suggested that 90% of the time, the steering rack and pinion had to be done at the same time which would have saved me labor money. Picked up vehicle and power steering still making noises. They replaced new power steering part with another new one and then did the pinion and rack. Cost of both: $1,216.24 + $1,277.87. A/C started going off and on. Back again on April 13th--new engine oil cooler and a/c hose-$896.17. Back June 8 a/c still not working -off and on. They had it for a week and said that they could not flash the module and take it to RBM. total cost $3,390.28. RBM--bottom line: Found the AC clutch control wire damaged and shorting against the engine block. AC pressure switch wiring with all bare wires shorting out pressure sensor. Burnt wires damaged done due to power steering pump crushing the wires. Overall costs from RBM $2,744. Result A/C could not be repaired without extensive investigation. They kept car 4 weeks (with loaner car from them.) End Result: Had to buy new car and Mercedes worthless without A/C and other problems as a result of burnt wires. Owner would be reimburse any monies. I spoke to him and then put my results in writing and hand delivered. He said he would look into it and get back. No response.
Area Roswell, GA

I thought I might have found the right place! Did not happen. These people get busy, and you are in trouble. Don't keep computer records if you get an estimate. Made an appt., but still waited 2 hrs. Then, was asked to pay for add'l time to diagnose. I left and realized I never got my quote for shocks after all that time. Called and was told "we didn't keep your paperwork so we don't have the information on your shocks". Well, you probably need the shocks anyway". I hung up in shock. Be careful of what you read in reviews!

I was referred to Honest-1 by a dear friend. Got an app't like the next day and they treated me like Royalty while I was there. Tom at the front is so professional, Alan and his techs are the "bomb". Words cannot express my gratitude for being HONEST with me and telling me I didn't need a new Engine as I was told by another Mechanic, all I needed was a GOOD oil change. My car is not smoking or leaking oil as it was doing before due to a bad oil change. Have another app't tomorrow (April 1st) to have my gas tank ck'd out due to trouble pumping gas. God is good and these guys will treat you RIGHT!!.

I went in today for an oil change and a strange noise I'd been hearing on my car. I called ahead yesterday and made an appointment with Tom, and he was attentive and LISTENED to me with courtesy and understanding(my car was making a weird noise and I didn't really know how to explain it). I went in today and cannot speak highly enough about the service. They were with me every step of the way. I explained I didn't know very much about cars, and they walked me through it. Marcus was excellent and Alan made me at ease and very comfortable. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but I'll definitely be back to these guys. They were priced competitively and you cannot beat the prices and the SERVICE you get there.

Nowadays, when you hear "it's too good to be true" you automatically assume the worst, but this place is just that! They are trustworthy, have a talented, experienced person running the repair shop, are always prompt and take the time to explain to you exactly what the problem is, and what all your options are - even if it is not profitable to them. In addition, they have valet service to bring you home and pick you up, a comfortable waiting room without the smell of tires next to you, and even free coffee and internet if you care to wait. It's even a Keurig!

With this cold weather a small critter decided to crawl into my car. Next thing I know there are "blood and guts" in the car and my belt came off. Took it in first thing after reading all the positive reviews. Let me tell you they didn't let me down. Had me out the door in about an hour, minus all the the blood and guts. Also, had another issue that I had been putting off and decided to let them do it. Two repairs both great experiences!

I have been going to the same auto repair shop for years and for the most part have been happy. I took a car I was planning to buy for a thorough inspection since my shop didn't perform inspections. These guys are great. Very patient, explain things and don't do work that isn't necessary. I took my second car there today and am incredibly impressed. Very glad I stumbled across these guys.

Long story short my Alternator was in the process of frying. Called them it was almost closing time and they waited for us to limp my car there. It was fixed by lunchtime the next day, they even sent a car to come get us. They did not try and sell anything I did not need. Car is running great. Will return if I ever need anything again

From the front desk guy Alan, to Tom and the techs, this is one well-oiled operation. They've got great attitudes, do what they say they will, and offer a two year, 24,000 mile warranty on their work. How many ways can you spell AWESOME?

I went to get a car checked out I was buying. These guys treated me like family. They kept the shop open after hours just to take the time to graciously inform me of what would have been a very unfortunate purchase of a vehicle that had been wrecked four times. Had I not gone by and talked with these folks, I would have been in serious trouble. I am truly grateful for you guys.

I took my car there to get looked at. They looked at my car for over a hour for free to try to fix the problem and they didn't try to sell me something they were very kind and honest...I will absolutely be back and tell people to go there...

The people are Honest-1 are amazing. The service is impeccable, the waiting room is clean and fresh, they live by a higher standard. Instead of selling me something I didn't need, they HONESTLY told me of a less expensive alternative. Honest, Trustworthy, Honorable. Thank you!

Honest 1's name implies that you'll be given fair treatment, both in the assessment of your car and as a customer, AND HERE YOU WILL. As a female, I won't go anywhere else, and you shouldn't either. This is the best car repair and maintenance shop in Atlanta. Don't spend your time or money anywhere else. I recently took my South American friends to Honest 1 after multiple car repair shops had taken advantage of their broken English and recommended replacing thousands of dollars worth of parts that didn't fix the problem. They could barely put food on the table, but they needed the car to go to work so it was a priority. Honest 1 treated them with respect, gave an honest assessment and didn't give up on diagnosing the very tricky car problem (and they fixed it!). It was the first time my friends had ever been treated with dignity and respect by a repair shop in Atlanta. As a female, I sympathize - the car repair industry has a very bad reputation for lacking in honesty and respect for its customers. Honest 1 is working hard to be the exception. If you're looking for the best place to take your car, this is it. Alan, Jordan and the team will give you a fair shake, and you'll walk out the door feeling good about your car's doctors and a desire to never go anywhere else.

Well, I dont usually gush over car repair shops, but I am afraid I must over this one. If you want people to care for your car like it was their own, then this is the place for you. Everyone in the shop is interested in your car and it's problems and want to fix them; owner, mechanics, assistants, they all want nothing but the very best for your vehicle. You can tell by their personalities, attitudes and how much they know about cars and trucks. Their pricing is actually more than fair. This place is the real deal and the complete package. I love everyone who works there. Dennis, the owner, is kind and concerned and is under the hood of your car right next to the mechanic. Alan, the mechanic, is the bomb. Hope he never retires, I feel my little old truck will be a gonner if he does!!!
