What a bad experience -- the installer showed up 4 hours late and ended up cutting 4 holes in my dry wall trying to find a clog in my air cond line. The installer ended up leaving frustrated. The next a new installer came and said "what was this guy thinking" - he corrected the problem the same day by running a new line. Every since August we have been going around in circles with "Jennifer" on reimbursement for the damaged dry wall. I would not recommend for any reason!

Terrible experience with horrible customer service. No returned phone calls and pending unresolved complaint. Filed a claim with Better Business Bureau.

Thanks guys, You provided great service and the tech you sent was awesome. He explained everything from start to finish and in a manner we could understand. Anthony and the whole team deserve an A+...

Our AC went out in the dead of the summer (90 degrees outside) and we called Atlanta Heating and Cooling and they came out to our house that same day!!! We had an older unit that needed a special part...our technician went out of his way to locate that part and bring it back that afternoon so we would have AC back on that night! He went above and beyond! Very fair price! He could have tried to sell us a whole new unit it was so old...Overall great service! I would highly recommend Atlanta Heating and Cooling!!!!

We have lived in the Atlanta area for 5 years. We had pretty much given up on the idea of finding a heating and cooling company with integrity and professionalism. We contacted Atlanta Heating and Cooling because of a referral in the middle of an emergency in our home. They were out within minutes. The technician was welcomed by a house full of children (art class with 11 students and several siblings). He jumped right in with a smile and was thorough and actually enjoyed being here. He took his time. There was a timely follow-up to our call. I called back later in the week with questions and had once again, a return call and answers within minutes. I am glad to finally have a company I can refer to friends and call for direction and repairs.

As a single mom I have to work with vendors that I can trust to do what they say, safely and economically. They have taken care of me for the past 3 years and have always been on time, professional, and gone over what they promised. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!!!

we bought a service agreement from Davco at nearly $300.00 but it ended up costing us a whole lot more. On the first service everything seemed to be normal but less than a week after the service our compressor froze. We called and complained but Davco did nothing. They used our 2nd visit to come see what was wrong just to tell us it was not their fault. FAST FORWARD. We moved into a bigger house not long after this and decided to give Davco a 2nd try. After all maybe the compressor wasn't their fault. Davco came out to service our (2 units) Well guess what. less than 2 weeks after the company serviced our units the compressor on our upstairs unit failed. (DAVCO)did nothing but gave us the runaround. I just paid $650.00 to have the compressor replaced. I got 2 different companies to look at the unit just to verify what needed to be replaced. After the compressor was replaced the new company did a full inspection and cleaning of the system at which point they found globs of dirt and dog hair in the outside coils. They asked me when the system had last been serviced and I told them about 2 weeks before the compressor stopped. I was told that the dirt and hair was what caused the compressor to burn up and that Davco wasnt doing their job. no one will respond to me. If they had cleaned the system or informed me that there was a problem I would not have just spent $650 for something that i was paying them to prevent! THANKS DAVCO! for what you call preventative maintenance!

I was asked to co-sign for my daughter and her husband to replace their HVAC and I agreed. I arrived at their home, expecting to co-sign with my daughter on the contract. The only name on the paperwork was mine. When I questioned the company tech, he said he did not know what to tell me, that this was the paper work that was given to him. Nothing was explained to me and the unit was already installed. Two weeks later I receive a new Visa Card with a $7500 Balance on it. I never applied for a new credit card to be approved for me. Tomorrow I am contacting Federal Trade Commission to report fraud. Also, I will be calling VISA. After that I will be filing my lawsuit against the owner, David Goffrey. My daughters unit needed a part to repair it, not a unit. And just for the record I had a total new 3.5 ton unit and furnace installed at my home on Sat at a cost of $2800.00. This company charged my daughter $7500.00 and put the total package in my name. Mr Goffrey should contact us and return the $4700.00 that he charged over and above what should have been charged. If he does not, within one week he will be served with papers relecting the amount that I feel is justified to be taken off this account. Also, the contract should immediately be taken out of my name and put in my daughter's. I never agreed for a new card with a $7500.00 balance to be put in my name. Larinda

My husband had Atlanta Heating and Cooling install a unit for us because we were told ours could not be fixed due to a part that could not be replaced. We had a new unit installed which we are paying a significant amount of money for. The financing was suppose to be in my name with my mother as the co-signer and when they came my name was no where on the paper work and they said there was nothing they could do about it now that it was done. Then come to find out the part could have been replaced and would have cost me $300.00 dollars to fix. That equals roughly $7000.00 less! I would never recommend this company to anyone, as a matter of fact I would try my best to talk them out of it. My mother on the other hand is more upset and is planning to take legal actions.

DAVCO, on a couple of occasions failed to show for an appointment. The latest on, 4/12/10, after I scheduled my appointment about two weeks in advance and taking off work to meet the serviceman, I was informed that they no longer service my area. I found this out after calling them to find out when to expect the serviceman. I will never use or recommend them again.

We had our a/c unit serviced in Apr-09 and purchased a service agreement at the time. We were told by the serviceman, Dan, that we would be contacted for future maint. inspections covered by the 1 yr svc agrmnt. However, we have not heard from anyone at DAVCO in over 6 mos. Very disappointed with the lack of follow-up.

I have been using Davco for many years for yearly service and problems. When it came time to install a new heating and air system, we had several companies give us a quote on their systems. By far, Davco was the most professional, economical, and the explanations as to value, installation steps, code requirements, etc. were very helpful in our decision to go with Davco. The installation crew were very professional and knew their job, and verified that our decision was correct. Also, thanks to the ladies at the Hiram office.

DAVCO have done my yearly maintenance for the past 3 years and I am highly please. Now, first time in my home, my furnace went out. I called and they dispatched a technician immediately. On Time and Professional. The next day Joe came to my house and spend 2hrs with valuable knowledge. I am considering them for my new furnace. Great office staff.

DAVCO replaced our HVAC system yesterday after 6 weeks of negotiation. We contacted several companies to give us a quote and DAVCO not only gave us the best deal but also gave us a 12-months-same-as-cash payment option. They worked with us on our schedule while we had 2 deaths in our family. The day of the install, the guys worked together and got the system up and running in record time. We are pleased with the system and particulary with their customer service. We liked that we could communicate with them via email so that we could have everything in writing. Would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

Long wait but the tech was very apologetic. I have used Davco previously for a condenser problem. Very knowledgeable and communicate well. Service agreement is a good value and prevents future problems.
