Very nice, very professional on the phone. But I booked 4 movers and they showed up with 3, which meant it took longer--which means the move was more expensive than I budgeted for. If they had shown up with all 4 of the movers I booked, it probably would have been a 5 star review. But this is a major issue, so I can't recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for your five star adjusted review. It sounds like the guys did a great job which you should expect. I am sorry we do have regular crew members who call in sick periodically. Our best crews sometimes would rather go out short than take a replacement depending upon the size of your move. In addition to a lower rate, you should have been given a customer service adjustment. Thanks for using Buckhead Movers and I am sorry we disappointed you.
Can't begin to say what a great job they did ! Deon and his crew were fantastic! Personable, efficient and very hard working. We were apprehensive since we had not moved in thirty years and had a LOT of stuff. The quote was the best by far ..less than half of one other quote! They went out of their way doing little things like joking with grand kids, petting dog so he would not be nervous, would not let me wife carry anything and took every precaution to keep everything in both houses clean and all furniture safe, hooked up water line on fridge and washers even installing new hoses we had bought, 12 hours and they were still making sure we were satisfied with every tiny detail before they left! Cannot go wrong with them. BTW they are also Bulldog movers

Sales person was informative. We had a 4 men crew. I would say 2 of them were pretty good. One was Ok and I would not recommend the 4th person. So the move went quick and they were timely. However, they ended up breaking one of our flat screen TVs to the point where it was not useable. They cracked the screen. The 2nd TV was damaged cosmetically but works. I had paid extra for having these crated and even with that, they damaged them. The person that was in charge of crating the TVs did not even have the proper tools to crate properly! They offered 3 insurance options. I ended up selecting the most basic option, as I assumed that these guys are professionals with experience and also felt confident since i had paid extra for crating service. Little did I know that I should have moved the 2 televisions on my own somehow! After I contacted their claims department, it was a bit of a hassle to get them to pay me for the damages. The TV that got a crack in the screen was a $600 television and they ended up reimbursing me $400 for it. Overall, i would not recommend them. There were some positives, but when you end up with 2 damaged Televisions, I think the timeliness and efficiency no longer matter.

Thanks for your kind comments I am glad the move was mostly efficient and quick. Please be aware that the most basic valuation option only allows for "depreciated" or used value. I am sorry that your TV's were damaged. This has never happened before with two crated TV's. Hopefully, with the cost of TV's going down so rapidly you were able to replace them with the allowance your were provided.
Last week i moved my 85 year old mother into an assisted living residence. What should have been a stressful situation was made so much easier by Delvin Talton and his team of guys. Every one of those guys was respectful of my mom, her belongings and all of them went above and beyond the call of duty that day and had so much patience with us. The funniest part about the day was trying to find space to put the furniture and all of the boxes in mom's tiny little room but those guys did it! And a big Thank you to Jeff Kimble for answering my plethora of questions. You guys are the best!

This was our second move with Buckhead Movers, and we were very pleased. They gave us a price and it didn't change based on the day of the month we were to move. They also finished 2 hours under their estimate - with 1 less man than they suggested! They were very efficient and very nice. Will definitely use them again!

Moving is a stressful experience under the best of circumstances. For my husband and me the added stress of moving into a home where the renovation wasn't complete elevated the pressure! Buckhead movers were the best part of the move...Jeff handled the reservation (he let me change dates with short notice and had a crate built for a table when I forgot to tell him ahead of time...all in stride) with terrific professionalism. The crew was also GREAT!!! Michael and his team were professional, nice and careful with our belongings and the finishings in our new home. No nicks, scratches or misshaps at all...impressive!!! I even had fun. Thanks again Buckhead Movers. I'll recommend you to anyone in the Atlanta considering a move.

My wife and I hired Buckhead Movers for an intown move from a house to an apartment. Jeff at the BM office helped us estimate the approximate cost for our move given the various day options (by the way, the actual time was spot on with his estimate). The day of our move, Keith, Sam, and Chunga arrived right on time and were extremely thorough with my complicated instructions (these go to new house, these go to the apartment, these go to storage). All of our furniture was carefully wrapped and this is the first move that we've never had anything broken or scuffed. My wife an I were extremely impressed at the level of care these guys took with all of our stuff. We highly, highly recommend working with Jeff and Keith's team. We had such a great experience with them we've already asked Jeff for the same crew to help us move from our apartment later this year!

Dealing with Buckhead Movers made a stressful day for me run very smoothly. Very easy to deal with, and very professional. Even my most delicate of items were delivered without a scratch. I will certainly use them again!!

They lost marble chest top. Then said they had found and would deliver. No word for weeks then, when I called to follow up, the agreed to deliver to my office. No show, no call. When I followed up, "oops, we lost it again". Continued to chase them without success until new person (Rebecca) assigned to deal with me. She asked for a photo and dimensions, which she received. Then, I hear no more from her but learn I have now been assigned to Sherry when she e-mails to tell me that, since they can't figure out what it is worth, I need to run around and get estimates and then get back to them. I refuse to do it. They have been jerking me around for 4 months now and I have no reasonable expectation at this point that submitting estimates to them will produce anything other than either more excuses from them or more busy work for me. Truly a miserable experience. Use at your own risk.

Please be aware that marble must be crated in order to be covered under your valuation option. Not sure what happened here. I am sorry you had a bad experience usually marble is an easy repair or replacement. I apologize for the delay but we did have some turnover in claims and I think this contributed to your problems.
Having just moved with Buckhead Movers, regrettably I not only would not recommend them but would recommend using another company. Their movers were solid and gave great customer service. The company's management was the opposite and provided lousy customer service. There were a few hiccups during the move (wrong type of truck requiring moving our items again to another truck, not able to get truck on the street, broken box of glasses) and management would not take any responsibility or back up their work. While their price may be less than competitors, here's fair warning that if there's any problems during the move, they will give you the company line that its your problem not theirs. (Bulldog Movers and Buckhead Movers are apparently now the same company so this goes for both.)

The management of Buckhead Movers is pleased to hear that this customer received excellent customer service from her moving crew. She brought 2 minor issues, which she describes as hiccups, to our attention post-move and we made a customer service adjustment to her bill to address them. Unfortunately, the inadequately packed fragile items which she packed herself resulted in a few pieces of broken glassware. The valuation coverage which she selected is written by the PSC and used by all professional, licensed movers in Georgia, and unfortunately, does not insure items which are not packed by Buckhead Movers professional packing crews. To remind clients of the importance of proper packing we have a statement that we have customers sign before the move begins letting them know (up front) that we do not insure "Packed by Owner" containers. We are grateful for her compliment of our excellent, professional, hardworking movers and would encourage all of our customers to take advantage of professional packers to protect delicate items. If you elect to save money on your move and pack yourself, keep in mind that insurance does not cover those items, so pack them carefully and don't skimp on the bubble wrap and packing paper. For even more protection we would advise that you move breakables that you've packed in your car for safety and savings.
Thank you to Trey, Sam and Fred "Cooper's Crew" for doing such a great job moving furniture from my daughter's apartment to my home in Johns Creek. The furniture was heavy and they had to move it upstairs with no damage to the furniture or to my newly painted walls! Very professional job!

I just moved last week and I am very happy with the process. - The sales rep was professional and was able to update and print a proposal immediately after looking around my apartment. - The moving team was efficient and did the job within 4.5 hours. Moreover they helped to send my undesired furniture to a charity without charging me and sent me back the receipts in time. The only weakness is the coordination between customer service and sales rep. When we tried to schedule to visit my apartment to do a precise cost estimation, I was stood up by the sales once due to the bad coordination. Besides this, overall I am happy with the service.

James Mials and crew did a fantastic job moving us. They were fast, professional and courteous. They were the only company that gave us an accurate quote so while the quote was a little higher than others, I feel they were the best value because there were no upcharges. What we were quoted is exactly what we paid. When we look to move in the future we will definitely use Buckhead Movers. What better recommendation is there than that?

Buckhead Movers is awesome. Curtis Battle and Team Extraordinaire (Charles, Sam, Linwood) were the greatest and I would highly recommend them. They were professional, efficient, fun, and tremendously professional. Jeff Kimbel was terrific too in making all the arrangements beforehand. Kudos to Buckhead Movers for hiring superb talent!
