Dr.Lue is one of the best OBGYN's out there in the world. He delivered both of my boys by C-Section and I had no complications and the delivery was excellent. I was looking to go back to him only to find out he's moved to Augusta. :-(

Dr Lue delivered my daughter Destiny in 2005 he is a great doctor who took the time out to explain what was going on with me and my body. I was sad to see him move to Augusta I miss having him as my OB/GYN. If I ever have another child he might see me pop up in Augusta. I recommend him to any women whos looking for a great doctor.

I went to see Dr. Bennett and after having horrendous care in the front office, giving me scary and inaccurate information about my mammogram, Dr. Adrian Bennett laughed about it. She is in the wrong profession.

I have been Dr. Lue's patient since the early 1990's;HE IS AWESOME, and I need to locate him-he's not in the Atlanta area, so it seems. If anyone knows how I can get in touch with him, please contact me @ 770-262-9665.

Dr. John Lue is an excellent physician. He has great bedside manner and he always made me feel comfortable. From my first appointment to the day he delivered my baby, he provided high quality care. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good OB/Gyn.

Dr. J Lue, delivered my baby right before thanksgiving. He took excellent care of me during my pregnancy and at the birth of my daughter. He is very knowledgable and caring. He has the highest standards as a physician as far as I am concerned. I waited less than 30 minutes at every visit. He and his office staff are excellent.

I saw Dr. Lue for about 2 years. 2-3 hours is a standard wait time at his office. Even if you are the first patient of the day, you usually have to wait at least an hour because Dr. Lue does not show up on time. He was recommended to me because of familiarity with PCOS; however, I found his level of PCOS expertise to be seriously lacking. When pregnant, I found that he was extremely dismissive of my questions and concerns. I felt that he was not a very good listener and I never had his full attention. I was also frustrated that the majority of his staff was made up of first year medical students who were very inaccurate when it came to finding the baby's heartbeat, etc. The final straw was when Dr. Lue told me he wanted me to have an unnecessary, outdated, and potentially dangerous procedure (x-ray pelvemetry). I researched and found that it is NOT recommended by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I sought a second opinion from another obstetrician who told me that the X-ray was unnecessary. When I told Dr. Lue that I refused the procedure, he got very angry at me and suggested that I did not care about my baby's safety. He was so angry I was frightened of him - of his rage and also of the way he practiced medicine. I switched doctors at 38 weeks pregnant and never looked back.

This patient sounds familiar to me, she was a late transfer from another doctor. She had PCOS and having assisted her in her management of her PCOS she got pregnant while she was my patient. The pregnancy went well until the end when I advised her that the baby was getting larger than her pelvis would possibly tolerate. For safety purposes, I advised her that delivering the baby earlier would be better. I also advised her that x-ray pelvemetry would be one way of evaluating pelvic dimensions to see if they were adequate for delivery. I also referred her to a perinatologist for evaluation. I was advised by the perinatologist that she wanted to have vaginal delivery at all costs, and I did not feel that this would be safe for her or her baby. Subsequently, I found out that she transferred out to another group and had complications during her labor and delivery due to the baby's size and her pelvic size, and she did have a c-section. It is important to remember that when patients are disatisfied and angry, they will say anything to lash out. I always place the safety of my patients and their babies first! I do have problems with wait time in my office, and this is due to the fact that I spend so much time with each patient, wanting to explain every medical issue in detail so that I am sure they understand. The medical students in my office are 3rd year medical students, just months away from completing their medical doctorates and I SEE EVERY PATIENT, care is not left up to medical students, nurses or physicians assistants. - Dr. Lue
I was looking for a new OBGYN that was close to my house. After finding Dr. Lue and all of the good reviews on him, i was excited. when visitng him he diagnosed my with hernias. i knew this was incorrect and informed him of my PCOS he swore i didnt have PCOS (without doing any tests) and scheduled me for surgery to remove these hernias, he said i had. i went for a second opinion to a doctor who actually took blood tests and came back with a PCOS diagnosis. as i earlier attempted to tell Dr. Lue. i havent been back since.

As an OB/GYN, I do not remove, nor have I ever removed, hernias - it is not within the scope of practice for an OB/GYN to remove hernias. Any patient who has a problem is referred to a general surgeon for evaluation - never, ever would a patient be immediately scheduled for surgery.
Dr. John Lue is a fantastic doctor, very personable, with a nice and efficient staff. I have been a patient for 4 years and highly reccomend The Atlanta Women's Wellness Center. Wait times are not bad, and you are not rushed in and out like a number. Time is spent explaining and evaluating.

This practice is different from any other OB/GYN I have ever been a patient with - Dr. Lue is an amazing physician, he explains everything in easy to understand terms and has a very sensitive, comfortable way with his patients. He truly cares about his patients - and it is evident in everything he and his staff do. You will never look for another doctor again after making an appointment here!
