Where do I start? It's been more than two years (yes, that is right - more than 2 years!!), and my basement project is still not be finished. When I first met Scott, he was very nice, approachable and promised to get my project done in 2 months (not more than 3 months). That was in 2015!!!!! Not only did this impact my marriage and friends but we have literally become the laughing stock for our neighbors as "the homeowners of the never-ending project". Granted that during the project his wife got sick and he broke his leg, nonetheless, we bent backwards to work with him to a point of ridiculousness. I have tried calling Scott and texting him for the last 3 months and he has pretty much abandoned the small remainder of the project. I am now spending extra money to try and fix and finish the project. Because he was rarely onsite, the workmanship of the project was poor and we now have to spend money to fix these issues in addition to finishing what he has not finished. I have given him ample opportunities to work with us and finish but he has totally ignored all my messages. Very disappointed and would not wish anyone to go through what we have gone through......

First off, the 1 star is only because the work that was done looks great. However, after 6 months, the basement is STILL not finished! Hired Scott and his crew based on his sales pitch of "I don't sub any work out" and "we can finish in 10 weeks". Very reasonable estimate as well. Here we are, more than 6 months later, and not only did my wife and I have to clean up the mess left by Scott and his crew, I will now have to finish some of the work myself or hire someone else to finish what Scott started. Everything started out great so I didn't have any questions when he asked for a check to cover some upcoming costs. This happened a few more times ("please leave a check under the front mat for X amount") and the work continued. After a few weeks, I started noticing things that were not being done according to our plan. The only way to reach him was via email and then, he would only answer part of our questions. After 6 months, Scott's team just stopped showing up, stopped answering phone calls, and no replies from emails. I asked multiple times for an itemized invoice with no response. Turns out he got all his money and didn't care about finishing his work. We had to buy and hang the bathroom mirror, we have to finish the closet ourselves, and lots of minor damage to the door frame! Completely unethical with zero integrity or respect for the people PAYING HIM to do a job. Hire this man only if you have a small job and don't want to spend a lot of money!

We hired this contractor to complete our bathroom remodel. He stated the project would take 3 weeks to complete. It's been 7 total weeks and it is not complete.

This is the first negative review I've ever written. I do not take this lightly as I work in a sales and service occupation myself. We hired Scott to finish our basement. He gave us a very good (in retrospect, too good) estimate and said he could complete the work in 10 weeks. Things started out well but we ran into problems a few weeks into the project. There were things not done as we discussed, mistakes that needed to be corrected, or some projects simply began but not completed. Scott would not answer his phone or return voicemails regarding these issues. The only way to reach him was by email. He would respond but only mention one or two of the issues we had asked about. He just simply ignored many of our requests and concerns. We had been paying in installments as we went along which seemed reasonable at first. But when we repeatedly asked for an invoice or breakdown of charges he failed to comply. Six months in to the project Scott bailed on us and stopped replying to our emails and phone calls completely. They never even returned to collect their lockbox on the basement door. We still have some work to be done to have the basement completely finished as we desired. It took 6 months instead of 10 weeks to do the work they completed. We never received any invoice, receipts or other documents from his company. We had to call the county to verify that the work was done to code. Scott's poor communication and business practices are unprofessional and disrespectful.

Paid them $1,500 to install a tub, uninstall a toilet and extremely light demo. 2 teenage kids doing the demo managed to spill toilet water all through my house while taking it out. They cracked my brand new tub in two places. The main part of the demo was to remove the remaining old tile adhesive which they did not do...they did the easy demo which I would have done if I had know they were not going to decide not to do the hard part. So Andrew basically manipulated the itemized pricing so things were simply not done that actually took any amount of time. Lazy and unethical approach to my project. Oh!...and they did hang a little bit of backer board. And the idiot that did that cut it all at the edge of my open garage leaving this incredible amount of dust all over my garage on every damn thing. The dust will be there for years. The guy would not have done that to his garage, a family member or friend's garage. Unbelievable poor judgment. Had about $2,500 worth of project left that included tile work in the bathroom, a door frame, baseboards, etc... Called Andrew about 3 times, emailed him about 3 times and even texted him. For some reason I was willing to let him complete the job simply because we were excited to get it complete. Not one call, text or email back. How do people do business like that? I thought he may have been in the hospital but then saw all the current FB posts.
