O'Callaghan Heating and Air Conditioning is not a reputable company. During a routine maintenance call, a new service technician allowed more than 5 pounds of Freon to escape. Instead of admitting his mistake, the company said my unit was leaking Freon and had to be replaced. Another company replaced the missing Freon, checked for leaks several weeks later, and found nothing wrong with the system. Now, the owner, Dennis Roach will not respond to my requests for a refund of $450 it took to replace the Freon. Do not do business with this company.

I am sorry you have not received our response to date. It has been mailed. Our company will always make every attempt to make everything right. Our technician was not "new", he recently returned to our company after being deployed for several years. If he was to have made a mistake and let Freon "escape" we would have admitted guilt immediately. The bottom line is this: We will gladly refund you the $596.00 you are requesting if you will allow us to perform a proper leak search and confirm what we already know to be a leaking evaporator coil. Our service technician, Scott, picked up the Freon leak on your evaporator coil while he and Cory were there. That was the whole reason we turned this over to Jordan to quote you a system. We do not sell people repairs or equipment that they do not need.
I had a $10,000 system installed by them a year ago and it went very smoothly. They provided excellent service with the system over the next year, without any issues or problems. The service calls were 100% on time, unlike others that give you a huge 4-6 hour window to show up. The Trane systems aren't cheap, but they're very high quality. O'Callaghan gave us an awesome upgrade in our home over the old junky construction grade compressor and furnace we had. thanks!

We use O'Callaghan for our business use and they know the system and have figured out some issues we had in the past without delay. I trust them to take care of us during regular maintenance as well as during problems that arise.

I have been using O'Callaghan for over 30 years now, I couldn't imagine using anyone else. They are professional honest and will do what they can to make you happy and satisfied. I have referred them to so many people and everyone has been happy. The beauty of staying with them for so long, as I can trust what they say and they don't need to take advantage of me to make a living. They have bulit their business by the reputation they have.

Thank You for your review. I will be sure to let our technician know that you were pleased with our service and that you will be recommending our company. We look forward to serving you again.
O'Callaghan is responsive, courteous, and competitively priced, and has an excellent service staff. Wish we had used them to install our new furnace last year. We used Estes to install our new furnace and it was a train wreck. Estes is all about the sales without the support; installation had issues, half hour waits on the phone with service, phone calls not returned. I called O'Callaghan and they were on the job pronto, and did a great job.

Thank you for such a kind review. We try our hardest to have every job go as this one did. Thanks again.
I have been using O'Callaghan Heating and Air Conditioning for several years. My HVAC unit is almost 18 years old, and I totally recommend the semi-annual maintenance program. They are like clockwork; they call me to set the semi-annual appointment, and once they are here, they take their time and are very thorough. They are on time, go beyond the call of duty, and are professional.

Ms. Womack, thank you so much for your kind words. We will continue to do our best to live up to your expectations.
We read the Kudzu reviews before we chose this company to maintain our 5-year old Trane heat pump. Today was the first experience and we were very impressed with the knowledge and thoroughness of the technician, Carl Friesen. He took extra time to explain some of the finer points of our thermostat. He was thorough and friendly. We feel confident that we have made a good choice in this company.

O'Callaghan recently replaced a furnace in out townhome. They took the time to understand what we needed and did a good job at a reasonable price. They also replaced the AC several years ago and also did a good job.

I have used these guys for several years for my HVAC systems. They are thorough and do a great job - they even try to find ways to reduce their costs whenever possible.

I have had Vince service both my home and condo HVAC. He was prompt, knowledgable, and professional. Highly recommended for routine maintenance. I expect that they would be very fairly priced for a large repair, but luckily have not needed that.

I've had a contract with O'Callaghan's since I bought my house, and have had a variety of specific service people visit my house. Every one of them has been on time & really concerned that I'm satisfied with what they're doing for me. I particularly like the way that they have little booties to walk around the house without tracking dust everywhere.

Many of Trane's products are energy star certified. You could save 40% on your utility bills by upgrading your current HVAC system to a Trane comfort system.
