I had a flat tire and decided to replace my front two tires. I'm very particular about tires and getting the best price for them. After doing my research, I decided on a set of Kumhos. They had them in stock and their price was $30 more than I found somewhere else. When I asked if they would price match, they willingly did so. I had to get the work done on a Saturday, a very busy day for them. Because I do not live nearby, I had to wait while they did the work. They got to it right away. The service was excellent, friendly, and affordable. They took all of the stress out of spending all of that money on tires! I will always go back.

I have used Kauffman for several yaers, but learned through recent experience that they're ripping people off. They'll tackle you out front to inspect your vehicle and peddle un-needed services. I wouldn't buy a doughnut from these guys. Too bad, a once good business has lost all integrity. If you don't believe me, let them tell you what services you need, then take your car to another mechanic for a second opinion. My experience was at the Peachtree City East location.

I had a bump in my tire from hitting a curb, and my tire was about to blow out anytime. I was referred to the Brookhaven location as my managers always get their tires there, and have for the past 7 years. They didn't try to oversell me, they advised me on the best tire for the best cost for my car. It was quick and easy and I'm pleased with the service. They didn't try to convince me that I needed all 4 tires, like Firestone in Buckhead did, they told me that if I didn't get all 4 they would wear all wrong, but it turned out that I only need 2 to balance out the wear. The guy at Kaufmann told me that my back tires were only half way through their life and I didn't need them right away.

All I can say is they have tried on numerous visits to charge for work that was totally not needed. This has happened not only to me but to others in my family and to neighbors. Good example was when my wife replaced the shocks on my car under her then maiden name. Just over one year later during an oil change under my name they inform me I need new shocks. When they figure out the mix up they try to charge me for the shocks which were under full warranty. Instead of getting charged for their labor I took it to Discount Tire where it was found to not need shocks. Hummmm. Will not even go into the scam they tried to pull on my 71 year old mother.

I called Kauffmann about a week ago to purchase 4 new tires. The first person I spoke with on the phone (don't remember his name) was able to give me some great prices, but was unhelpful in answering my questions about the differences. However, when I went into the store to make my decision, I had a great experience with Joseph at the front counter. He knew a great deal about the different tire options, and gave me recommendations based on my driving needs and price. I never felt any pressure to purchase anything I didn't want. The tires were put on in a reasonable amount of time, and the ride is much better!

I am not that naive being a knowledgeable guy and This is not based on a single incident: One of my neighbors in my apartment building had the oil changed on her Camry from there, they forgot to put the oil cap back, the oil leaked and dried up her engine...you know what happened next. Got a tire changed from there recently: Car started steering right after it, went back and they handed me a $1000 estimate for tie-rods bent, assembly blah blah replacement...went to QT..checked tire pressures with a guage..and tires were 23/25/28/40...i could not believe they didnt even adjust tire pressure.. The kind of service i imagine if i had spent the $1000 would have been horrible based on their amateur service. ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

I once bought all of my brakes and tires at this Kauffman Location. I recommended them highly for several years. Unfortunately, they have gone from being a 4/5 star operation to a 1/2 star operation in the past 2 years. I feel confident in stating that their brake service has to rank among the worst around.

I was very impressed with Kaufmann tire. The manager Matt was very knowledgable about tires. I changed tires on 2 vehicles and was very satisfied. In fact, the reason I thought about writing this review is because my wife hit a pothole yesterday and blew out one of the new tires. After bringing in the vehicle for tire repair, they replaced the tire for a total charge of $1.00 under the roadhazard warranty. These tires were a few months old but only had a 1000 miles on them. I thought that was very nice as the sidewall was damaged. They could have charged me for a new tire. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is because the mechanic who changed the tires on my other car (a BMW) did their regular safety check and he thought that the brakes pads needed changing and were at a dangerous level. Since I'm covered under a factory warranty, I declined the service and when I brought the car into BMW service, they said that they were fine. Thats what I assumed from the beginning as there are brake wear sensors on the vehicle. I don't think he was trying to sell me unnecessary services, I just think he didn't know much about brakes, as it pertains to my car.

Briefly. Service Manager was unresponsive, unhelpful and showed no concern for numerous visits to facility for faulty work. Had to return several times to repair faulty work and expected to go to back of line. Very rude and unresponive. Cannot recommend.
