We just moved with Ivy League, and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Steve came out and gave me an estimate with +/- 10%, and the bill came in within that range, very happy. The moving team were great, they worked tirelessly to get everything packed and moved, it was 11pm when they left, and I didn't hear one complaint. Great team and I would happily use them again.

I called 2 movers to get estimates and chose Ivy League (they came in lower). When the team of 3 showed up to my house, they shook their heads in disbelief. The estimate of 3 guys, 1 truck an 3-4 hours ($1,000) was WAY off. I called and complained and they sent a 4th guy and cut me a discount. The crew was great and everything fit (no idea how!) and nothing was damaged. It took them 9 hours. My bill was $400 more than estimated, but still less than the other quote I had received up front.

I recently moved with Ivy League Moving Services. Having moved "6" other times both local and long distance, I have had many different experiences with moving companies. Ivy League was the Best! From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Steve, one of the owners, provided me with an estimate that was totally accurate. We have some very heavy furniture and the movers never complained a minute even though they had to work around multiple flights of stairs and small corners. They wrapped the furniture, took their time, and cleaned up when they left. I would "highly" recommend this company!

I never hesitate to refer Ivy League to my clients. I have booked moves with Steve and Mike for years. I'm always treated with respect, as are my clients. And no damages--which was not the case with the bigger carrier I used to recommend. I prefer dealing with a smaller company where the owners are at my service from start to finish. The crews I've worked with were experienced, courteous, and handled belongings with efficiency and care. The only snag you may have is if you plan to use a credit card. They don't take them.

Steve is the most unprofessional person I've ever delt with in any business. Don't waste your time with this company as it was the worst experience moving I've ever had. Use a large moving company--you'll save money and be treated with professionalism. You'll also get the right estimate and not the wrong estimate where you have to rent a truck on your own. Oh, did I mention that you'll save money and be treated with professionalism?

Ivy League moved me twice. The first time they were 6 hours late, sent a tired crew and went way over the estimate. After being lied to by one of the owners I called the other who yelled at me. Second move 07/08 they were late again, did not have enough equipment. Called owner to sight and almost got into a fist fight. Refused to unload my goods until I went and got the full amount due in cash. Worst experience EVER out of over a dozen moves!

Not on time. Unprofessional drivers, supervisors and movers; some apparently working part time from other movers. Trucks left before completing loading. Charged for equipment not being used. Owner very rude and refused to discuss complaints.

Ivy League Moving Services was the best moving service!!! Since they have to pay for any damages out of their own paychecks, the movers were very conscientous. They were quick - but didn't damage anything. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Ivy League has moved my mom twice, with great results. With that referral I expected a good bit from the start. Everyone I dealt with was quite pleasant, courteous and really seemed to care about my move even though it was fairly small for them. The movers themselves were as pleasant in person, careful with each item and still was able to provide more than I expected.

I've recommended Ivy League Moving Services to everyone that is moving. No longer. I've used their services twice before and was ready to use them the third time. But they booked my move on the wrong day. I called 2 months prior to my move date and that date was wide open. I never received a confirmation letter or email. Based on previous experience, I didn't think that was a problem. But the driver called the day on a Friday saying he was on his way. The move was the following day on Saturday. The driver was very friendly. But Mike left a very rude voicemail message and wouldn't return my phone call or email. They were accusing me of booking MY move on the wrong day. I was forced to call another company at the last minute. I'll use the alternate company in the future.
