After being diagnosed with Acromegaly, I was told that I'd have to have the tumor removed immediately. All of my research led me to Dr. Barkhoudarian and his team at St. John's Health Center. For starters, his team worked with me to get me an appointment as soon as possible. Off the bat, Dr. B came in with a game plan. He reviewed my MRI images and lab work with me in details and explained how the surgery would go. He answered ALL of my questions. After having scheduled the surgery day, my insurance gave me a hard time approving a surgery outside of network.
