Oncology and Hematology in Carlsbad

This Dr. was very helpful with my family member. He explains everything and does all the necessary tests required. He does what he can and works well with the family. He answers questions and gets back to you (or his staff) in a timely manner. Very straightforward, so expect direct and to the point answers but definitely knows his specialty in cancer. We had a good experience and he is the BEST. Quick but to the point attitude with such expertise!

I had breast cancer 18 years ago and was told I may only have three years to live without chemo! I had none, and or radiation treatment. I had a mastectomy and they didn't even check the tumor and how fast it grew. I fought five months with insurance to get this doctor and WOW! Dr. Wilkinson had them pull the tumor off the shelf and find out how fast it grew! He sat with me and a book and showed me the different types of growths and explained it all! When the results came back from the lab, the doctor said it grew at a moderate rate, and that I could have a reconstruction! I had a tram-flap, and have been clean of cancer for 18 years! Dr. Roberts treated my son over the past 4 years. His thoughtful condideration of my son's and my family's needs helped to make the best of a difficult situation. He is very open to collaborating with other specialists and of course, with the parents as caregivers to the children he treats.

Dealing with a cancer diagnosis is tough but having a kind, compassionate doctor to guide you thru it all makes the experience less frightning. You'll understand what I mean when you meet Dr. Norton-she's the way you wish all doctors were.

I have a oncologist who I think is the best ever. She is fast and gets results to you really quick.
