The best in town
There is only one place for Sunday brunch or any other meal in El Cerrito. They are a little off the way but it is worth it. I highy recommend their waffle for breakfast.
Awesome Cakes - Every Time!
Good: We like the quality, friendliness and price. We have ordered several cakes and they are all spectacular!. Bad: So many choices - we don't aleays...
Love it, go there daily for special cheesy rolls!
This restaurant is always packed
This restaurant is always packed, and hard to find parking to boot. At least it isn't overrated Elite Cafe next door, which has absolutely ridiculous service. Anyway, I always have their Croque Monsieur, a Cafe au Lait, and some macarons. I love the pretty presentation, but their lavander macaron can be too sweet sometimes.
Take it from a Philippine native, who eat Filipino food on almost a daily basis, the food at Manila Paradise is really quite good. Yes, you have to be a bit adventurous because it is Filipino after all, but isn't that what the Bay Area is all about? Different nationalities, different styles of cooking? And since it hasn't been said enough in my opinion, the food here is really, really inexpensive.
