I had recently purchased from a collector a very old marble bust that sat on a 12" wide marble base. Sadly, the base arrived broken in two pieces. In searching out a restoration service, I (happily) came across Fine Art Restoration. I contacted Henri, we discussed how the repair would be done, and I sent him the broken base. Well, I've just received the restored base and I'm extremely pleased with the final result. The base looks beautiful, and it's truly difficult to detect where the original damage occurred, even when you know where it was. For that, and for his excellent communication with me during the process, I can strongly recommend Fine Art Restoration.
all sorts of antiques..
I love this place.. I could buy all the store If I had the money.. Affordable cute little and big antiques!!
I had never used Cultural Interiors LLC before, but I am sure glad I did! The shop assistant was so friendly and kind!
I am a huge Disney dork, and this is like my heaven (aside from Disneyland itself). There are so many things in here that you wouldn't be able to get at a normal Disney store, and it makes it that much cooler. What's even nicer is that most of their stuff is of nice quality, so you don't feel like you're paying for something that will fall apart in 2 days.
As most antique shops, you need to take your time, walk every square inch of the building to discover great finds! I found an old fashioned ship. It was handcrafted, with real wood and material; not plastic whatsoever. It is still in great condition. And this ship is not a toy-sized ship; rather, it is designed to be placed on top of a shelf for display. I expected to pay a pretty penny for it, but left the shop paying only fifteen bucks :)
