Dish was the answer
When we moved to Mississippi, my husband and I had to decide on which companies we would use for our telephone, television and internet use. Telephone was simple, internet turned out to be not much of a choice (review coming soon), and the television turned out to be a choice between Direct TV and Dish Network. We asked several friends and family and also took note to see what kinds of dishes were in the community where we lived. Dish was the answer.
I have the high mid package
Dish offers up 3 or 4 different packages, starting out with the very basic, moving up to the mid and high mid packages, and then finally, of course, their "gold" package or whatever term you'd like to use for getting every channel under the sun. Right now, I have the high mid package, with no premium channels.
they work in great terms
We have 3 receivers and so pay $5 a month extra for the two receivers. However, we got new ones a few months ago, and they work great in terms of searching for programs and setting them up in advance.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good alternative to cable, and of course at a better price than cable.
