Paradise point is a perfect escape in Mission Bay and a great place to relax. Beautiful landscape, friendly service, and an ideal resort in San Diego.
Beautiful Mountain Getaway
Pristine, beautiful, mountain forest setting at 5500 feet! Bailey's Palomar Resort is our favorite mountain weekend getaway in the local southern california mountains. We love hiking around on the 60 acre private property, watch deer, wild turkey's and feed peanuts to Blue Jay's. I had missed the seasons living in Southern Cali. We visited Bailey's every season and it is beautiful in the summer with ferns and warm star filled nights around the campfire, in fall the forest changes into beautiful fall colors and you can pick apples off 100 year old apple trees. Great time for hiking the trails near by. In winter we hiked in snow, did some sledding and the historic lovingly restored cabins...
We loved our ocean view room, the friendliness of the staff and appreciated a generous military discount.
My family and I had a very nice room. It was comfortable and clean. we had a great view!We will definitely be coming back.
San Diego's Best Breakfast, Bar None
I stayed at the Travelodge behind Adam's Steak 'n Eggs. Normally, I avoid motel-lot restaurants, but my first time at Adam's completely blew me away. I loved it so much I went back four more times the same week. Much later, I moved to San Diego, and ate there often. Same friendly staff as years before; same helpful, friendly owner. When the staff has low turnover, they like their jobs. Same amazingly fresh eggs; wonderful breakfast steak; rich, tasty coffee; fresh hash browns with onions and green peppers; even the toast was great....and that dessert burrito just has to be sampled. Nothing has changed in years; I expect great quality, and always get it.
