Great Camp Staff
My children have attended for 3 summers- staff is great and the site is beautiful. Lots of different activities- archery, yoga, sports, drama arts and crafts, etc. Swim lessons are the reason we went and the fun is the reason we keep coming back. My kids adore their counselors.
Owner and Manager Care about their tenents!
A freak accident occurred that blew out several of our appliances, computer peripherals and hardware, entertainment units...regardless, the owner replaced EVERYTHING and paid for all of it himself. The people here are fantastic...neighbors, gardeners, repair personnel...if you are 55 or older and LOVE living in your RV, this is the place. Everyone can personalize their space with no problem from the owner, within good taste guidelines (if you have no clue what that is then don't even bother!). Everyone makes you feel welcome and is willing to come to the aid of "newbees". This park is within walking distance of stores (grocery, drugstores, hair salons, restaurants, etc.) and is directly...
Heaven on Earth
Great place for retreat. The Sisters here are so full of love for Our Lord. You will leave uplifted!
Adult Ceramics with Barbara Lamb
The City of Culver City offers many enrichment classes for its residents, my favorite being the adult ceramics class led by Barbara Lamb. I've been a student for 7 years now, and can't imagine doing anything else with my Thursday mornings! She's always in good spirits, excited to attempt new techniques, and share them with students, and is an excellent teacher. Her patience is admirable, and she has produced many successful and happy potters. Best of all, this is our little "escape" from life that we all so dearly need; and I can't imagine any other teacher providing this necessity in this fashion.
Good RV Park
This is a pleasant RV park just off the 91 freeway in East Anaheim (in the Santa Ana Canyon). It is adjacent to Featherly Regional Park, and has a great many roomy, grassy, pleasant sites. The park is clean and quiet, although the proximity to the freeway does prevent it from being ideal, and you do hear the sound of vehicles rushing by all night. But this is not a particalarly bad stretch of freeway, so it usually tends to be more of a "white-noise" type of sound. If you are looking for wilderness camping, this is NOT it, but if you want a pleasant place to stay that is near Disneyland, Knott's, etc, this is a good choice!
