WOW! THIS SCHOOL IS GREAT
To wenjamin - I have had my child at Woodlands for 3 years and I rate this school a 5 star. Your issue on snacks make me laugh. I have seen some of the snacks that are handed out such as cherrios, kix and fruit, myself taking in some of these items. If cookies etc are handed out I would have to think parents brought them in. You probably feed your child some of these items you listed? Don't call the kettle black. When the pre-school photos comes home, I always have a choice. If I want to pay $20.00 or $100.00, that is my prerogative. My child has blossomed at Woodland's and I certainly do not look for things to pick apart. The education my child gets is the most important.
A magnificent, joyful toddler program
My second child is now attending Unity's Montessori program, and I cannot rave enough about it. The children are nurtured in a loving, gentle way, encouraged to explore, discover and develop in all of the ways that toddlers need to: socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. The Montessori method relies on multi-sensory learning -- feeling, smelling, hearing, tasting. It encourages independence, responsibility and respect. The teachers and administration at Unity School have master's degrees and hold themselves to the highest standards. Love this school!
They educate the whole child.
Your child will learn manners, protocol, respect, good health habits and to appreciate himself.
Wonderful Christian School in Central County
My daughter is a sophmore and has gone to King's since kindergarten. She loves it and has received a great education. This school is not too snooty and the extra-curricular activities are great. The new campus is perhaps the best in the county and a very, very high percentage of grads go on to college. Also has bus service!
