My husband has been going to Dr. Molthrop for several years. Although he is not treating my husband, (i.e. no chemo) he is monitoring his platelet count, as my husband suffers from thrombocytopenia. Dr. Molthrop is very thorough, very personable, and his office staff is very pleasant. Since my husband is not receiving chemo, we have had little contact with nurses, therefore, I can not really speak to what they are like. However, I do know that at every appointment, Dr. Moltrop gives the patient a print out of their labs, which are done in house, on the spot. Dr. Castillo is an excellent oncologist. He has a superb bedside manner and a great sense of humor, which always helps with people who are ill. He's very thorough, very knowledgable, and very caring, and I highly recommend him. The only negative thing about the office is that the wait time to see this doctor is very long, but it's worth it to see a doctor of this caliber. However, I do think that waiting any more than a half an hour to an hour, tops, (unless the doctor has an emergency) in any doctor's office is unacceptable. Dr. Robinson has treated both my mother and my father, fortunately my father is still with us today thanks to Dr. Robinson. He forges ahead even though there is no known cure for my dads cancer. But he doesn't give up and that gives my dad courage to go on and fight this ugly disease.
