Had a load sound coming from our Kitchenaid side by side built in refigerator. It was coming from the freezer side. Did my research on Kudzu and another site. Ken and his company had very good reviews and I made the phone call. Got a quick appointment the next day. Ken diagonized the problem as a fan motor. While he was at our house I asked him to take a look at our Kichenaid flat cook top as the blower fan underneath the cook top had stopped working. Called Electrolux to get a certified service company to fix our refrigerator. We were given the name of only one company, Dr. Fix-It. Every aspect of their service was perfect, from the first person who answered the phone, to the follow up call by (the owner?) to the gentlemen who came to perform what turned out to be a simple repair. Everyone was thorough, courteous and friendly. Kind of sounds like a commercial. I work in facilities management, and I know how hard it is to find companies who do what they say they will do. I would highly recommend them, and they will be the first company I call if I have issues with any of my appliances.
I have AHS and I always request Kenneth Buggay when I have air/heating issues. This last time they were on hold with AHS, which I understand. So, I had to use another company. The company came out and replaced the bad part. Then told me I needed 2lbs of coolant R22 which is getting phased out. They were going to charge me $140 a lb. This didn't sound right, so I declined to have them fill. I then called Kenneth and talked with Ed. He was very informative and said they are charging $80. He also helped explain some other things. I had my Wine storage locker stop cooling. I found ASAP Appliance on the web and called. Alex, (owner) responded immediately and came to my home inside of 24 hours and did the repair. He was efficient, courteous and I knew the moment he started on the work he knew what he was doing. I will go to him again when needed. Highly recommended.
D & D came to my house to install a new refrigerator. He pulled it up a step and then pulled the old one out of the house (I don't think that's the norm). Plus, he removed the handles so it would fit through the door! This guy worked verrrrry hard - I couldn't help but tip him, even though he's the owner of the business. I would definitely call him should I need him in the future.
