Used to be my favorite place for a Gyro
My last visit....I had to go to the counter after waiting 10 mins to ask if I could place my order. Food came out pretty quick, but portions were still cold. No drink refills were offered. The owner wasn't there this time, and his son was our waiter, maybe this was the prob.
The "Cheers" of Marietta!
Since the latest review on here is from 2012, I thought I'd add a little update. This is a little hole in the wall slice of old school neighborhood bar heaven. Great owners (Ray & Liz who love everyone who ever steps foot in the place), cold beer, generous drinks, decent food when the kitchen is open (remember - - it's a BAR!), awesome bartender ladies, great tunes on the jukebox, and an eclectic and diverse stream of regulars who know no strangers, so come on in, introduce yourself, have a drink and relax! All are welcome, and I mean ALL. Don't believe all the crap you may have heard or read about rampant racism or homophobia or cockroaches or rats in the kitchen. Total balony. ...
Excellent food and value for lunch
Their lunchtime offerings are about the same price as a value meal at most fast food chains but you get so much more for your money at China Dragon, especially at lunch time where their combination meals are cheaper. Try them out sometime.
Found my "Regular" too late
Love this place. The food has always been great, the beers ice cold and the servers/bartenders nothing but awesome every time. I felt comfortable right away and decided it was going to be my regular spot. Makes me sad that I'm moving out of town.
Absolute integrity- Best in East Cobb
I love Bamboo! I order for delivery often and sometimes eat in the restaurant. The management has always been very accommodating if there was a problem. Like my next entree was free. I know they buy local produce when they can. I do not have one single complaint about the cooking, service or mangement. An ocasional error? sure but they always go the extra mile to make things right! excellent Thai- great Chinese and an occasional surprise like a Vietnamese Phoo soup...that was divine! Don't listen to the big baby whose comment precedes mine. There will always be mistakes when there are people involved. There is no cause to be vindictive.
