Integral part of a young lady's develoment
Our daughter has been riding at Vogt for 3 years now - and we all love it. She had started at another barn with top notch facilities, but she wasn't getting a consistent teacher experience so we tried Vogt. What a difference! The old barn offers valet service with lots of grooms and barn hands that run things so the girls can just show up, have a lesson, hop off the horse and leave. Vogt, on the other hand, teaches the whole experience from tacking and grooming to full care of a horse. Yes, it's a lot of work which may not be for everyone, but all the girls there love it. Our friend at the old barn actually pays extra to lease a horse for the privilege of learning grooming and...
My daughter has been riding at Huntcliff since before the change over to River Run & the changes for the better have been many & noticeable. The biggest change has been in the excellent education she is now receiving and her trainer's level of communication with us -she actually knows our name & is in the ring working with our daughter. My daughter has advanced by leads and bounds since getting this focused instruction. Safety is also big at River Run - all children under 12 wear a protective safety vest & every trainer is certified in first aid & CPR. The whole atmosphere is so positive, so different & so fun. We love it & are very happy!
I love HEC. I've been one pleased client for a year and half now, and it's become my second home. The trainers are very friendly and very knowledgeable. The clients and families are all so welcoming and helpful. I know I am one satisfied customer!
Lessons at Chastain Horse Park
I love taking lessons at Chastain Horse Park! They have an excellent mix of easy beginner horses to advanced and challenging ones. They also have a covered ring so I can ride rain or shine. And one of the best parts is that it is in-town! Hard to find a good hunter/jumper stable in Atlanta.
Laid back and kind
A very nice laid back barn.I have found my instructor(s) great. They make lessons fun and informative. Horses are sweathearts and barn/ staff is great, flexible and helpful for busy people. However if you are looking for shows and "hoyty toyty" hj stables this is not your kind of place. One can quickly advance in learning horsebackriding basics. For those interested in polo, they have great programs esp. for children. Prices fair and reasonable for intown riding.
