The best time for very little money!
I think something that people need to keep in mind when visiting YRGR is that the animals that live there are there because they were abandoned, abused, neglected or had other issues to start with. YRGR takes these animals in and gives them a place to get healthy again. We love going and feeding then animals. Most of the deer will eat out of your hand, as well as some of the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. You can bring your own crackers, peanuts, carrots, and apples, or you can buy them there. This is to supplement their diet, not replace it.
